AKONA Pro Scuba Diving Regulator Bag

I am on my way to Dive and figured I needed to take a second to review this bag because I’ve had it long enough to know it is by far my favorite. For reference I have had maybe four reg bags in my life and I am a rescue/PSD diver so I have helped people use pretty much all the common ones. so I have helped people use pretty much all the common ones. The things that make this excellent: -The shape not being circular helps so much with that little bit of extra room. also, it fits up against flat surfaces, whereas the circular bags waste that space in my dive bag usually. -Padding is sufficient enough to make me feel like my gear is protected but not insanely bulky so it doesn’t take 1 million years to dry like some of those very plushy bags. -padding is sufficient enough to make me feel like my gear is protected but not insanely bulky so it doesn’t take 1 million years to dry like some of those very plushy bags. -The zippers are sturdy -The top actually lays back flat when it’s fully unzipped unlike the other ones that you have to hold if they’re circular because the lid tries to close as you were putting your reg in. -it has a short handle and an over the shoulder strap and I regularly use both. The TLDR is my husband has inherited my old bag, and I have no desire to change this one for any reason! Fun colors would be nice because I hate losing my stuff on boats because everything is black, but I drew on it so that helps. Definitely recommend.

The outside material is very sturdy and the feel is soft at the same time Colour and design are great It’s padded on the inside

Likes are good quality material , padding for extra protection and size of this regulator bag , dislike are there’s no place or pouch to tuck small items nor identification tag

This regulator case holds my primary regulator setup with octo and console, as well as my pony bottle reg and also my perdix2 . It zips very easily and is not overstuffed with all that gear. It fits easily into my Akona adventure bag.

I really like the bag, and is perfect for the regulator and travel. The bag - including zippers - are sturdy and well padded. I would only note that it was a little smaller than I expected. I had read some reviews in which people complimented the size as being large enough so that they could fit their diving masks in the middle. I did not find that to be the case. The bag is perfectly large for the regulator, with the octopus and the gauges. The straps that hold the regulator in place are a nice addition for traveling. But it is just big enough to store a full regulator. Only way I see you fitting your mask in there is if you only carry the first stage and one second stage.

Got this to accompany the Akona carry on dive bag. This reg bag fits perfectly in the bottom of the carry on and holds my 1st, 2nd, and octo plus my snorkel and computer with ease.

Has enough room to store a first stage, two second stages, spg, bcd inflator and dry suit hose in a snug spiral. Excellent quality as well. Expensive but very good protection for my expensive regs.
