Pretty decent
Overall its pretty good and I'm really happy with it. There are left and right click buttons on the corners, so you can hold the keyboard like a controller. The trackball accuracy is surprisingly pretty good. I'd say my complaints about the device are nitpicking really, but I'll list them below. The keys are the same kind as laptop keys, so they're fine for use but may be bothersome if you're expecting to type a lot. The battery consumption is higher than you might expect. If you plan to use this a lot use rechargeable batteries. The trackball can stick if you apply too much pressure, you really want to feather touch it. The trigger buttons have a slight "bounce" problem where they on the rare occasion click more than once. The compromises made to reduce the size make it so some less common keyboard keys were moved behind the function ("fn") key. For its purpose as a keyboard you use at the couch, its excellent. If you plan to use for something else then the little issues make this mildly annoying to use. I'll rate this at five stars, but my true opinion is about 4.5.

The best HTC remote control option I've found
I bought this as a remote for when I have my computer plugged into my TV and I'm watching a movie or TV on it (i.e. as a Home Theater Computer or HTC remote). Pros: - It has a scroll wheel. Having tried to use remotes that don't include one, I can attest that this is an absolutely essential feature. Arrow keys do not always scroll, including in contexts that are important for an HTC remote, such as on the home and browse screens of Netflix and other streaming services, which makes it extremely difficult to navigate those interfaces with an HTC remote that doesn't include a scroll wheel. With this keyboard, which includes a scroll wheel and trackball, it was a breeze. - It has a keyboard. It's so much easier to type in a search on a QWERTY keyboard than by selecting one letter at a time with arrow buttons, so this was a must-have feature for me. It's also nice that the keyboard is big enough to use with all of your fingers like a normal keyboard, but also small enough to use with your thumbs like typing on a phone. - It has a trackball. Like a scroll wheel, I found a mouse equivalent to be a crucial feature for making it easy to navigate the interfaces of popular streaming services such as Netflix. I would have preferred a joystick, but a trackball is easier to use than gyro-based pointers at least. - The "plug and play" functionality was good. I plugged the Bluetooth dongle into one of my Windows 11 laptop's USB ports and it "just worked" with no setup required. Cons: - The trackball intermittently works poorly. Sometimes your pointer will barely move while you're trying to use the trackball, or it'll suddenly stop moving in the middle of using the trackball for a moment. The trackball is clean and the batteries are fresh and the low battery light on the keyboard is not on, so I think the issue is just that it's not a very good trackball, rather than a low battery or the trackball being too dirty. Despite this, I find even this not-great trackball easier to use than remotes which use gyro-based pointing. - There is only one shift key, which is inconvenient when typing, though understandable given how compact the keyboard is. - The USB Bluetooth dongle doesn't fit into USB ports very well. You have to apply quite a lot of force to get it to go in, which I'm sure increases wear and tear on the port.

Not what's advertised
Hard to say, keyboard is ok, trackball is not. Jittery, hard to control, just too small. Description said bluetooth but it uses a dongle which took my only usb port.

Works well if you need to be mobile in a classroom
I teach computer classes that require a lot of walking around. This allows me to continue class while away from my desktop. It is a little bigger than most, but I like the keys better. The roller ball mouse is very sensitive and moves easily. This is good and bad as sometimes I have to fight to get the mouse where I need it. Would recommend if you are mobile and teaching systems that need both mouse work and typing.

Worst keyboard, keep your money
Genuinely the worst keyboard I've ever used. I read the reviews and though surely its not that bad. WRONG its actually incredible how bad this keyboard is. It straight up does not work 90% of the time. Sure its a comfortable size and easy to reach all the keys which would be great if it worked.

Big enough to be effective but still small enough
Pro's: Size - its larger than some other offerings but feels substantial and solid. Not flimsy Sleep mode seems to kick in quickly and so far saves battery quite well trackball is responsive, as are all other keys and functions. Cons: it seems like it could be a bit smaller without sacrificing quality Backlighting RGB would have been great to have. some of the functions could be better laid out. The scroll wheel under the trackball takes some getting used to. Overall, so far very happy (my "con's" are minor annoyances at best) Update 03/15/2024: I still have the same batteries in it that I started with, still going strong. Trackball is a little finicky but needs to be cleaned more often than normal trackballs because there's no hole for "junk" to fall through beneath it. has good range and is very responsive. It IS small, though - not as small as these tiny things with the touchpad at the top, but small; if anyone is trying to use these keyboards for actual typing, then best of luck to ya :)

Trackball Improvement Instructions
This keyboard may be a bit small but great for my media center. The trackball tracking drove me nuts by not tracking well. Turns out to be an assembly default. The trackball lens is not a stationary fit and was in the wrong place. Remove all the screws including the ones under the feet and open the keyboard. Loosen all the flange screws holding the trackball board and push the lens away from the LED so that it is under the receiver chip. Tighten the screws and the lens will stay in place. The trackball on my keyboard works flawlessly now.
