Do these have a good seal? Or will they leak like other all-steel bento kits?

Hi thanks for the question. Damp/Moist foods (like salads, pasta, fruit) work great in our lunch box. Our bento lunch box includes a pod/nesting container that is perfect for thick sauces like hummus and yogurt. However, our all-stainless steel lunch box has no plastics or synthetic materials of any kind. Without plastics or other synthetic materials, it is NOT possible to create a 100% leak-proof seal (So Skip The Soup!). However, you can feel good knowing that your lunch will be free of toxic plastics leaching into your food - we think that's a pretty good tradeoff!

Will the sandwich dry out if left in the box overnight? Is it leak proof?

Food keeps fine in it overnight. I prep my lunch the day before, and it's fine the next day. The box is not leak proof - it's fine with thick liquids like hummus, but think something like soup would leak.

Why did the bento boxes not say what countries are made in?

100 %Stainless steel bento box are made in india, which is eco friendly.

Great lunchbox

Great size, not too big or small.. decent value for money for quality of product. Wouldn’t recommend any liquids as seal doesn’t prevent leaks but apart from that perfect for the job. Can easily store multiple bars, some sliced fruit or veg in the smaller container and sandwich in the bottom. Sturdy and hasn’t let me down yet. Definitely recommend.
