6 Pack - Schmidt 888 Rollerball Refill Black Fine Tip

I took a chance on buying these for my Kyocera ceramic pen, and I found that they didn't quite fit, even though the length and diameter were correct -- the hole at the tip of the Kyocera allowed only about 1 mm of the refill tip to be exposed. But I was able to ream out the hole in the pen using a 7/64" drill bit, and now they fit fine, with about 4 mm of the refill tip exposed. These refills are much more widely available and are cheaper than the genuine Kyocera refills, so I feel that modifying my pen was the right choice. I also like the 0.6 mm ball diameter, which gives a darker line than the 0.5 mm ball that originally came with the Kyocera pen.

High end pens normally have high end replacement ink cartridges. These are the best refills short of the OEMs refills, and the are far more inexpensive.

I Love them. My pen came from Germany and I haven't been able to find the refills until now. These refills work perfectly and are as smooth as if they were the actual ink itself.

I ordered a high dollar pen and the original cart was junk. These things write real smooth and seem to last quite a while. I’ll keep buying.

Schmidt. Once again delivering top quality. Gorgeous ink that just zips right across the page, however, these refills burn a bit too fast. Some worse than others. So 4 stars for a lack of consistency in the refills.

They work very well.

I use two custom pens. One used a Hauser bill 7o7SF and the other Schneider Topball 850 refill. I enjoyed them both but they do not last as long as a ballpoint! I decided to try the Schmidt 888 rollerball because of a better price. I am pleased with the ease of writing and of the quality of the line. They arrived in a timely manner and in good shape so I am satisfied with this purchase.

Schmidt refills are the best money can buy. I use them in the high-end custom pens that I make, and I allow my customers to test them on high quality paper. These refills sell pens, plain and simple. I'm surprised they don't cost more than they do, but I can't complain!

I have an older pen that required a name brand refill that is no longer available. I checked out the size and type of the original and this one works perfectly! Nice ink quality
