OtterBox Defender Series Case for Motorola RAZR HD - Retail Packaging - Glacier (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

This is the first Otterbox I have bought and used. My Grandsons and Son in-law have otterboxes on their IPhones and IPods, but I never paid much attention to those. I bought a new Moto G phone and it seems fragile, so I bought this defender case for it. It fits so well, it is almost unreal, and it seems like it should protect the phone from any normal dropping accident very well. It is truly a customed design to fit this phone, and a lot of design work goes into that. Well worth the price. I have seen no problems at all as far as the screen protector causing any less sensitivity to touch. This model case has the screen protector as part of the front case shell half, unlike other reviews where some issues were posted about having to apply a plastic film to the phone screen with a squegee.I truly love this case.

I had a Commuter case on my Moto G (1st gen), and it was always sliding off tables, etc. unless I had it face down. And I need it face up sometimes. So I sprung for the Defender, and not only does it not slide off tables when face up, it's easier to hold on on to, but not any harder to slide in and out of pockets. So it's working better than I thought it would. Only thing is that now putting it face down on tables is not good, because the hard part of the case sticks out far enough to make face down slippery! I guess you can have one way or the other but not both. It's worth it just because holding it is so much more secure now. And since I have a slight tremor in my hands at times, that's important. I don't use the belt holster, so can't comment on that.

Solid protection. I am a farmer and this case has held up to the elements. The buttons press easily. and the power plug and speaker covers protect those ports from the high amounts of dust, dirt, mud, etc that I work in.My only complaint is the white bar at the top of the screen just under the camera. It is so close to the edge that I could not activate that part of the screen with my fingers. To resolve, I just cut that bar out. I am not sure that it added any useful protection anyway.

I've bought OB products for years.. And I always gripe about the same problem: the rubber skin looses its form way too quickly.It becomes spacey, and loose and will eventually get so bad as to where it will just fall off in your pocket. I've bought OB cases since the early Samsung S models.... and my experience has been the same each time.Other than that, quick shopping from this seller... And overall a decent product that will protect your phone from a few serious drops.

I bought this case and the belt clip holster to hopefully protect my 6 month old phone from water and scratches, but instead the phone was really hard to get in and out of holder while on belt, and yet it was really easy to knock it loose and make it fall off while working, which is what happened to me, I have lost my phone and must now buy a NEW smart phone because of this ridiculously engineered holster, the phone case itself is ok, but from now on I will just buy a leather belt clip holster.

I always wanted one of these.I take care of my cell phones. I always liked the Defender cases I saw on friends' iPhones, but I didn't own a phone that I could buy a Defender case for. Fortunately, Otter Box makes one that fits my Moto G. It's bulkier than the Commuter series, but I like the way it fits my hands better. I also had to buy a new car phone mount to work with this case (I can still use the old car mount for my old-school iPods).

My son uses it for his phone and he's a complete klutz. The other day, he somehow accidentally flung it across the room where it hit a wooden table and then the tile floor. The phone was completed protected.Only four stars because I feel like half the price is for the name "Otterbox" and other cases might work as well. I use an $11 case on my phone. It is not as rugged as this case, but has allowed my phone to survive drops to a concrete floor.

I purchased this from seller "Breed", and was very happy with their customer service, product received, and shipping.I bought this for Moto G 1st generation and it seems to be a good, quality case for the secondary phone I plan to take on a 360 mile trek. I did have to go on the internet to find out how to open the case, because despite the diagram on instructions, I could not figure it out. Tip - grab a credit card, or a small key-ring supermarket club card, and press in all the tabs, once it starts to separate you just lift the top off.

Works exactly as advertised. This is a fairly chunky protective case with a hard inner and flexible outer shell. Together they fit into an optional belt clip that also protects the front of the phone. Top tip: when assembling the inner shell on to the phone, make sure that the inside of the clear screen protector is completely free of dust and finger marks as dismantling it to clean it is a bit of a pain!This is a substantial case that should protect your phone from most accidents except total immersion in water. As such it increases the thickness of a phone (Moto g in my case) by more than double making it less easy to slip into a pocket than the single shell cases.

Extremely tough little case, excellent build quality, easy to assemble, strongly advise cleaning the phone screen thoroughly before fitting the case.

Per quanto mi riguarda è molto comoda anche nell'uso quotidiano.Dà grande senso di sicurezza e veste il Motorola Moto G in modo perfetto.I pulsanti di spegnimento e volume funzionano benissimo e le due feritoie per l'accesso al jack audio o alla porta usb non sono solo comode ma permettono anche l'accesso di una penna usb con adattatore micro usb.La pellicola compresa nella custodia non compromette in nessun modo nè l'uso del touch e neppure la fruibilità dello schermo.Il microfono non subisce smorzamenti, fotocamera e flash non sono compromessi, perfetto anche il vivavoce.

Absolutely wonderful. Now that I have tried Otterbox, I will never go back to lesser phone cases. And this one was a real bargain as well. Looks good, feels good in my hand, and it makes my phone almost unbreakable. Have dropped it a few times and it was fully protected.
