Bought for STEM projects for middle school students. . Works great, only gets 4 stars because it’s too easy too accidents unscrew the post and the connection is lost.

I found the bulbs I used were loose when threaded into the socket, I’m not exactly sure if the bulb thread was under sized or the socket was oversized, I was able to use a different socket with the same bulb and it worked okay

These work as advertised and have nice visible connections. I used mine to make a "battery killer" for my old LiPo batteries so I can safely dispose of them.

These sockets are exactly what I needed for my project and they are very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The quality control is non-existent. Probably 40% of the sockets in the bag have something wrong with them although most can be salvaged. The screws are NOT captive and very difficult to put back once they fall out - particularly if you are on a ladder. The thread on a lot of the screws does not quite go all the way to the head so they just spin when you try to unscrew them. You can put a sharp edge under the head to get the threads started. What looks like a washer isn't - it's part of the screw and does a good job of grabbing the wires when you attempt to tighten.In my case, I was mounting them to aluminum square stock. A #4 sheet metal screw 3/4 in long works very well. I drilled a hole with a #43 bit (although #42 to #44 will work).

These bulb holders were great for a small project I was working on. They were good quality and reasonably priced.
