This my first time making sushi at home. I made it with my kids. This package was great. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. The results were delicious! If I would have known I would be making sushi a long time ago. I think this would be great for a party appetizer too. This brand is my favorite for breaking up my routine midweek. I love the different varieties,the price is reasonable, the packaging is thoughtful and the results are delicious. Global Grub is my definite go to for prepackaged unique food!

Great product, but was disappointed when the kit arrived and there was a hole within the rice bag. This caused rice to pour out of the kit box when I opened the shipping box. However, Amazon promptly sent a replacement and the recipients loved it!

Just got finished making sushi for the first time... It was great! The rice is easy to prepare. Tastes authentic. I used different mixtures of avocado, cucumber, shrimp, smoked salmon and spicy mayo. I was nervous rolling my first one but it came out ok. After that the rest were much better. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Eight rolls is a lot of sushi so make sure you'll be feeding more than two people or else you'll have a lot wasted.

I got this to give as a gift to my boyfriend. We made it together as a date night and it was super fun and delicious! It could only have been better if it came with 2 rolling mats so that we could make rolls at the same time. We took turns though and it was fun.

This set is a rob. It is overly expensive for nothing. A bag of rice and small portions of powder (wasabi and rice vinegar. It is also non-returnable. I feel robbed. Don't buy.

I got this kit as a gift and used it with a friend. The kit comes with most of the important stuff, but you still need to buy the fillings and sugar. The rice vinegar powder is cool, but kinda slimy when mixed with water; you might just be better off buying rice vinegar from the store. The package was nicely put together and I was very impressed with the presentation. Although the sushi itself was a little bland, how much can you expect from a box? I would buy this again to give to a friend.
