Great tool for your PEX toolbox... get one now!
This is a great tool. I'm doing a DIY radiant heat floor system. Lots of manifolds and supply lines, etc. This tool is great for when you make a mistake or need to re-engineer something, because your not a pro... mistakes happen. This tool is great for getting you back on track. It's a tool you wish you didn't need, but your glad you have it! Highly recommend having one of these in your PEX toolbox!

Works for me. Does what it is designed for.
I am new to using Pex pipe and knew I would probably make a few mistakes. This tool makes it easy to remove copper bands and save the valve or whatever you are crimping. Can't imagine what a hassle it would be to remove a band without it. Great tool. Would recommend.

Beak is a bit too short in some cases.
If the copper compression rings were installed a little too far back on the hose, this tool will not reach it to cut it. The beak is a bit short. Otherwise it works fine if you have strong hands.

It did the job well. Made a clean cut on the old ring and with a few more motions it will loosen the ring for easy removal. The tool was sharp and ready to use.

This tool does exactly what it's supposed to and is a great value for the price i paid. It's easy to use and very effective at removing 1/2", 3/4", and 1" copper crimp rings. Just make sure to set the dial on the side to match the ring size before cutting. No complaints here – it’s a solid tool and a worthwhile buy!

Bought this item, thinking it was for pecks pipe ring removal, it is not. It is for copper ring removal and I’m sure it would work great for that.
