La Mer The Lip Balm for Unisex, 0.32 Ounce

I know, I know, I know it's really expensive. And it's true, it is. However, it is truly the best lip balm I've ever found and it lasts me a long time because I don't use it exclusively. It's great as the last thing you put on before you sleep. It's particularly wonderful when traveling and when winter dryness sets in. So, for me, it's worth it.

Pricey, but I am allergic to beeswax which rules out so many products. Before I knew WHY my lips were swollen and burning (beeswax allergy), this was recommended and fixed my lips within days. I’ll never use anything else.

I lived in the dry climate of Colorado for 30 years and was desperately searching for an answer to my dry chapped lips for the first 15 years there, especially in the winter. I was so excited to find La Mer The Lip Balm because using it twice a day was the answer to my problem! We moved to moist Virginia 2 years ago, and La mer The lip Balm came along with me. I use about 2 containers/year. I ordered what I thought was my usual The Lip Balm through Amazon and the formula is changed...for the worse! It has the consistency of vasaline and works about as well. I am very disappointed, and cannot return it because I waited to open it until the one I was using was empty. I had a month to return. No where in the description is it mentioned that La Mer changed the formula. The packaging looks identical to the old version except for a slight difference in color of the lid of the balm. It was silver, and now looks more gold.

I love the feel . It is not greasy.

Heard so much about this one and WOW is all I can really say. Be sure to press your lips together and move them around so you get the full benefits. Also go beyound the lip line if you have Feathering problems it smooths the area just around the lips too. Great product. Never disappointed with La Mer :)

I searched for a while to find something that wasn't greasy but would tame the chapping on my lips. This did it. a little expensive but I wasted plenty of money on others that were cheaper and didn't do the job. This fixed my issue and quickly.

This little pot of La Mer lip balm lasts me about a year so that's why I justify spending a crazy amount of money on it. I have been using it daily for the last 4 years or so and it is amazing. A little goes a long way and I spread it a bit over my natural lip line to help with the tiny 'feathering' wrinkles that are creeping up on me. They did raise the price since I bought it last December but hey, I love it. I have tried many other high end lip balms but this is my favorite. I also recommend using this along with Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream to achieve soft, hydrated lips!

Might as well just use Vaseline. Total waste of money. Very disappointed in this product. Sorry I let myself splurge on it.
