Great for plasma cutting and gouging
I'm using these when plasma cutting and gouging on a 50A plasma cutter. They're comfortable and have performed well. I ordered two pair to keep on each welding cart that I have. For the price I think they're a good value and have done what I needed them to do. I don't know how long they'll hold up, but I'm not using them every day, so I'll probably get years out of a pair.

If you cut with an Oxy/Acc torch or a Plasma Arc Cutter you need these !!
No more having to struggle with your face shield, welding shield, burning goggles etc....... Just buy a pair of these #5 shaded face hugging glasses & See just how much Better your cuts get & how much Easier it is to make Consistent Quality cuts because you're not having to fight with low light conditions & not having to Assume your still cutting on the mark because the flame or the Plasma flash is too bright or because your shield or goggle lens is to dark!! I WON'T even think about making a cut without my glasses & they don't scratch easily & fit in any eyeglass pouch as I have several that's collected over the year's in my desk drawer in the office in my shop !! Don't Delay any longer because it's a Minimal cost & A MAJOR improvement & also it will cut down on eyestrain Tremendously !!! Buy BUY BUY !!!

just right
These shades are just right for using with my plasma cutter or grinder. They're dark enough to protect my vision while light enough for me to see what I need to see when the arc is off. There's no substitute for safety. Sometimes I get lazy and don't want to wear a full helmet. With these there's no excuse to risk the pirate look.

cheap and effective
The quality is nice, and they fit great. The best part is they weren't so expensive and I will definitely buy these again when it's time to replace

Works great!
I’ve always wanted to try glasses like these and wasn’t disappointed. Keep in mind that wearing these instead of a hood, your face won’t be protected from anything spraying at you. But for plasma cutting, and a track OFC setup these are much more comfortable and convenient.

Good torching glasses
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Shade 5 glasses. Just what I needed. However, I'm very disappointed that I cannot use these glasses for racket sports or simulated war games. Bummer.

Please do not use as welding glasses. Great for torching no welding.
