Another Superior FastCap product
Again, another Superior FastCap product. This is great for getting to the hard to reach areas that are between two objects. The narrow part of the marker stem measures 2", allowing you to reach down into areas. Works Great on Kaizen foam when outline objects to cut.

A great pen that marks on anything
Excellent pen for marking most anything. The fine tip at the end of the long end makes marking a hard-to-get-to spot easy to mark. And the wide tip is great for running a line across metals and other things that are hard to mark.

Great design, absolute disaster in fit and finish.
Purchased two of these and just missed the window to return it, will not be buying again. I think the Dixon Reach is going to work better. The FastCap Long Nose Marker is a fantastic design but is fabricated beyond poorly. It will work great for about 48 hours....then the ink starts to leak. I've had the entire nib assembly come off the long end on one and both have ink sitting along the entire shaft every time I open it up. The marker will begin to dry out quickly as well which along with the leaks means these things aren't sealed and put together well. It's a shame, the length and dual sides was a real winner in the design category...just wish they built it as well.

Pelican Case Use
As described and worked great for tracing the outline of my rifle for my Pelican case. You just have to be consistent with your tracing in how you hold the body of the marker against the rifle. I saw plenty of videos that stated to trace inside the outline. I did. However, I ended up tracing so closely that I was able to cut with the line rather than inside of it. Get one if you've got a pelican case. You'll appreciate the ease and convenience. It's a small investment for a great result. Oh, and on a final note : Many videos stated that you should use an electric knife to cut the foam. I simply used a retractable razor and was very pleased with the results.

Very disappointing
Wanted to use these for woodworking layout..unfortunately, these are not much good. The design is nice, but the ink is substandard and dries out very quickly. If you lay them down flat then both ends are useless within a week or so. Forget about the chisel end, i got 1 use out of it. The only way to get a very small working timeframe for the small end is to store vertically w small end down. Even w that..pretty much a waste of money..

Excellent contrast with very dark colors or black.
This is a great marker (color- silver) when marking or out-lining very dark or black objects. The long fine tip works great in outlining shapes on surfaces of all types. Thanks for asking!

Some like it long......
I wanted to use this to trace an object onto a workpiece prior to cutting it out. The thickness of the item (a fancy cross that I wanted to use as a pattern to make more) made it difficult to get good results with a standard pen or pencil, especially when trying to trace the interior details. This long nosed pattern marker makes the task easier. The line produced is a bit broader than I would have liked (on the order of 1 mm or a little more), Perhaps they will come up with another model with a thinner point. For now, am experimenting with placing a sheet of Akua printing plates (also available on Amazon) on top of the cross, and using this marker to trace the cross while observing it from above, looking through the plate. Cutting out the plate results in a thin pattern for making the final product from.

Perfect
Super handy

One thing about this marker you can trace about anything large or small as the long tip is about 2 inches. Marking holes for devices to mount on the wall is a perfect task for this.
