Craft Wire Silver Plated Tarnish Resistant 24 Gauge 30 Yd

It's the best wire I have found to tie nylon bags, as well as other uses, like tie up a bundle of wires, how about dangling pieces of USB and MP3 wires running around, or just about anything you might want to tie, just to make things tidy, and less cluttered? You'll find a lot of materials and sizes. The higher the gage, that is the size number, the thinner the wire. 24 gage is just about right, 26 is two thin, and 20 gage is a little hard to bend and work around, but a lot stronger than the rest, and it stands more open close cycles, for example than the 24 gage. Copper together with Silver coating make a good combination, as far as corrosion resistance goes. You'll probably have to order one from each, and try it, to find the best that suits you. Of course, you'll find traditional garden utility wires as well, with green plastic coating, and much more, industrial uses, too.

I was surprised at how fast I finished the whole spool! I thought I'd never be able to use 30 yards, but it's sadly almost gone. This has been perfect for me in my projects, many of which use tiny beads that need the 24 gauge. It's very malleable when needed, but also can be stretched out and will stay straight.The one downside is that I didn't realize the inside would be copper, and so sometimes when I cut pieces off I have to work to hide the cut end so the copper doesn't show. Still, I'm already ordering more because I love this stuff!

Good wire. Not using it in the most conventional way, but have it wound and stashed in BOBs. Plenty there for the price and it's easy to manipulate or twist.

I like to make rosaries....and this wire is just right for that purpose (if you're going to wrap each end to the next).

Very good craft wire, easy to work with BUT tarnishes

The wire is perfect for what I need it for. Love the color! But what I'm way more impressed by is the speed of delivery. I ordered this on the 10th of April 2014, got it today the 12th of April 2014. Thank you. It seems like the seller (Beadsmith) knew that I was needing it to finish up a project. I will definitely buy from this seller again and again!

Let me preface this review by saying there was nothing really wrong with this wire. It came on time, and it is thin enough to thread through beads. The problem is that I was expecting this wire to be flexible enough to thread easily through my crimp tubes, and it is not. I'm a beginner with my jewelry making, but that was disappointing.

This is not silver plated wire as advertised! This is blatant false advertising!
