Mosquito Head Net Hat, Safari Sun Hat with Veil Mesh Protection from Insect

This has been great for the garden and protection from being stung by bees/wasps. The quality is excellent and it's nice to have the adjustment to secure it under the neck/chin area on windy days or loosen it to hang it feom the neck to behind the head when not in use. There is also an adjustable feature to tighten netting or loosen it. It's breathable but next time I would pick a lighter color as the dark one I got heats up quickly in the extreme heat here in the southwestern high desert. It washes very well in a linen bag on delicate and air dried. I would definitely recommend this hat and I would buy it again.

The hat is beautiful and if women have all of the colors it woul make a beautiful addition to any dress for daily attire. The soft stretch hat is comfortable and the veil is cool, comfortable, and covers ufficiently to protect from bee stings as well as eye, ear, noseand mouth from dust and ge rms snd sinus problems. The veil can easily be gathered at the neck for protetion or victorian beauty with various dresses, or hang around the shoulders. It is a joy to look through the veil and stay cool, knowing the hat band can be drawn snug. An affordable and beajtiful addition for daily or special ocassion wear.

This hat is nice when out walking where there are lots of pesky bugs. I got it to protect my face from gnats and mosquitoes. It works well! The pink color though isn't my favorite. The pink net distorts what I see and sometimes makes it difficult to see clearly when I'm walking. Otherwise, the hat fits well and does the job I need it to. Good price as well

I have a 8" hat size and almost all hats are too small, however working in the yard this year is horrible with gnats and mosquitoes, so I took a gamble. Turns out the hat is just big enough. I ordered two, one for me (the blue with the black netting) and the pink for my wife. The black is easier to see through than the pink. After my eyes adjusted I didn't even notice the netting. As advertised the netting kept the swarm at bay wonderfully, as long as you tightened the draw string, the wife didn't and bugs got in when when leaned over. So I am thrilled with it. 5 stars. The hat is lightweight but could be a little bigger to be really comfortable. The material seems pretty low on the quality scale, but I have only had them for a day so long term wear will have to wait. The main thing I wanted to get out there was that it was big enough for my big head, and it kept the bugs off.

Bought this instead of the others I purchased first. Lots of coverage and space between you and environment. Covers neck fully with netting that extends over your back of neck and semi bare neckline at shoulders. You will not be disappointed. You could even may spritz a little ‘off’ in the back and on top of hat. Would not recommend that in front because of breathing in.

It's OK, but it doesn't keep the mosquitoes from getting under the netting

I use this for dog grooming when doing a deshed on hairy breeds and it works great for keeping the hair out of my eyes and mouth. Worth every penny

I am from Pennsylvania. We have lots of bugs there, but the gnats do not bite, they just fly around and fly around. I live in Washington now. Gnats are called Black Flys here. They are about 100 times as big, and bite the back of you neck if they can get to it during the early morning and early evening. I love to garden. I went out to water the flowers early one Sunday morning and came in with about 15 bites on the back of my neck in less than 10 minutes. I had to go to the doctor for medicine to get the itch and swelling to stop. This little bee hat works really well to keep the bugs away from my tender skin. I have gone out to garden and felt the bugs try to get to me, but the netting kept them away!!!! It is very light. Sometimes it is hard to see in the distance, but that is a small price to pay to get the weeds pulled and keep the bugs away. Thank you.

Best to keep away pests

Purchased for use in a dog grooming salon. Keeps the fur outta my eyes, lungs, ears etc during big blowouts. Cute as well

Great hat, keeps the flies off me, I wear it when I'm walking my dog.
