This product has proven to be very beneficial in many ways. I noticed that my joints don’t hurt as they use to and I don’t have a lot of mucus when I am drinking this tea. The only issue I have about it, is that it is very bitter, but has gotten use to the taste!

The taste is VERY bitter but I missed it with other herbs and honey. It was a bag full of stems/sticks but it still brewed well as a tea.

Holy Cow! Live and learn... Don't make a cuppa this by itself without first realizing how bitter this herb actually is! If you are like me and want some of the healing properties of this herb but not the really strong bitter taste then consider only putting a tsp of the herb with a tsp of another herb (such as peppermint - it masks the bitterness nicely) that has a flavor you like. (I tried licorice and that just didn't do anything for me - dumped that batch). If it still is too bitter tasting, add a tsp or two of honey and suddenly it tastes wonderful. I know others have said they get nausea or dizzy from this herb, but I have not experienced any of those symptoms, however, I am not taking large doses either.

I am happy with this product. After first using fresh from the garden Vervain, I was skeptical of using dried product. I use it for mild depression and digestive aid...It is excellent. Thank you

Good quality, well packaged, organically grown, Blue Vervain isn't easy to find, but Starwest Botanicals delivers all that for a very reasonable price.
