How many times ahve you been working on a DIY project and wondered is the power on or off? Oh well, let me get to work! and Whammy you got the shock! We've all been there and this will save you, literally and never hurts to be safe! These is SUPER easy to use and while basic, it's a small form factor that is straightforard and simple to operate and a time and shock saver!

First of all, know that this is a value-engineered product designed to be priced below $20. For some reason, the exposed contacts are extremely small so that you can't plug the contacts into and electric socket. Further, the interface has a constellation of small red lights that light-up each time you touch the contacts. When you turn on the device and touch the contacts to a 120V source, 6 separate LED indicators are lit up. You then have to squint at each (non-illuminated) label to see what is going on. This interface is tedious. --fine if you use it once in a blue moon.

I’m not an electrician. I am a retired tradesmen of the sheet-metal industry, but I do know some electrical work and I pretty much do my own around the house. This is a valuable tool to own to avoid getting shocks and knowing if you have life current or not.

Its cheap and works. Others complain that the probes aren't long enough. There are plastic covers on them, take them off and then probes are long enough.

Good for the RV since it pretty much covers every voltage you will run into from 1.5v batteries to 24v DC and up to 240v AC. Wife can use it and you don't need to select a voltage range , just turn it on. I bought this to keep under the truck seat because I enter into many RV lots at night and sometimes I have to test the power poles before I park on first come first serve parks and multi meters are a pain at night or in the rain. The caps come off the ends exposing about 1 inch long metal probes. I didn't bother to put them back on as the probes still snap into place on back of unit with no problems.

I'm used to Klein products being the standard to measure all others against, so I was disappointed when I received this voltage tester. I have not been able to test it because the attached probes are too fat to insert into an electrical outlet. That is my gripe about this tester, you can't use it to probe an electrical outlet which significantly limits its usefulness.

This voltage tester was a must have for me. I feel more at ease putting my trust in this product than I do a voltage pen, therefore since I lost my previous tester I purchased this affordable one. Absolutely perfect for checking safe isolation and betteries. Very please with this handy pocket tester.

Muy bien! Solo que los cables están muy cortos para medir y en las características menciona que no hay modo de reparación por alguna eventualidad. Es decir que son desechables. Pero aún así son de buena calidad!

Regrettably, it falls short of expectations; using it is a frustrating experience, as though one requires an extra pair of hands. Though its appearance is appealing and it once echoed with promise, the harsh truth renders it disheartening.
