I just received my Polare Original leather bi-fold wallet and am impressed with the craftsmanship and durability of their product. I’m very particular with my wallets because they can be very cumbersome if they are not well made or designed, but this wallet exceeded my expectations.In one of my pictures you’ll see that the wallet comes in a nice sturdy box and includes a 1-year warranty! I doubt I will need to use it, but it’s nice to know that I have that option in case something happens to my new wallet.The wallet measures roughly 4.25” by 3.5” (or roughly ~10.5x9cm) It’s a good standard size. Not too large and fits in my pocket easily. When opened up, you’ll see that it has card holders in the front, and a clear card holder to the right for an ID. However, to me the best feature are the large bill pockets in the back. This wallet comes with three compartments. The first uses a zipper which is well made and doesn’t snag itself on any fabric. At first, I was weary of using this because I like to have easy access and see things in my wallet but found this is perfect for the spare change in my pocket!The next two bill pockets in the back are utilized for typical wallet items such as money. Another great feature is that Polare sewn an accordion like design for the rear bill pockets so if your wallet gets stuffed like mine does, it doesn’t warp the shape of your wallet.Lastly, the overall craftsmanship and ‘look’ of the wallet is great. I’m a simple guy so I like the look and feel of quality leather. I do think the stitching is fantastic and it’s certainly a wallet that will keep for many years vs cheaper quality goods that you need to replace after a year’s worth of use.Overall, I’d rate this product 5 stars. Between the craftsmanship, design, quality and price you’re getting a fantastic deal for a superb product from a company that backs it with a 1-year warranty. Having purchased other leather goods from Polare this definitely meets their highest standards and is a product I wholly recommend.

Excellent quality workmanship and fine texture. It seems like a really good leather. However, it appears to be slightly larger than wallets of the past and at times can be a little difficult getting it out of my back pocket.

Nice leather wallet for traveling. Holds larger European currency. Security feature is a must for travel. The wallet is soft and bendable. Has plenty of card slots.

i bought this recently and i feel its pretty good, the material feels durable and looks pleasant, when i hold it close it smells pleasant enough but its not a strong scent, theres plenty of room for all manner of cards and its easy to get things out of the wallet when you need to, prettymuch everything in it is as presented in the pictures.the only reason im giving it four stars instead of five is that it IS pretty large compared to every other wallet i've ever owned, i have difficulty getting it out of my pockets at times when it comes time to pay for something and im not the smallest guy, i probably should have paid closer attention to the product dimensions and done some measurements beforehand and on some level its probably my fault because i bought the large as opposed to the small which would have been a dollar cheaper anyways, i just assumed it'd be about the same size as every other wallet i've owned, its a pros vs cons type scenario though so some people probably wont care about the size, i enjoy it as a product, just wish i was aware beforehand just how large the product would actually be.

It's bigger than I expected, and I ordered the small. It's also kind of fat. However, sometimes I feel like I lost my wallet because it's so comfortable in my pocket that I can hardly feel it! My $100 Tumi leather wallet is extremely soft, however the leather doesn't breathe at all and often makes the spot on my thigh underneath my pocket very sweaty and uncomfortable. Also, even though the leather is so nice, it somehow always digs into my thigh or rubs against my thigh hair. I also hate that it has no spot for coins, and I had often had to shove quaters in the billfold. This Polare wallet is suprisingly light for its size. The leather isn't the thin, slick, and plyable kind that is on my expensive wallet, which I think is somehow responsible for it being so light. This wallet is made of velvety leather that is somewhat firm (kind of like a cowboy boot ), and it is extremely comfortable in the pocket. It also takes on a richer color as you use it, because it seems to soak up some of the oil from your skin. I LOVE that this wallet has a coin pouch! I rarely see men's wallets with these anymore, and this one is durable with a sturdy and high quality zipper. I also love that the billfold is seperated into two slots, which I use one for money and the other for receipts. That is another feature that I rarely see, yet it is so simple and useful! It only has four card slots, as well as the slots underneath which can hold about two debit cards a piece or several business cards. I don't mind that it doesn't have a gazillion slots, like all the other men's wallets on the market. They will just get filled up with cards that you don't even use, and then you end up with a cluttered, heavy, wallet that is filled with the equivalent of junk-mail. Lastly, it isn't anymore noticable in the pocket than my smaller Tumi wallet. I like to wear fitted or bootcut jeans, and the wallet only leaves a slight outline that is expected from any men's wallet. It doesn't bulge out or make your pocket looks stuffed. Now, if you're one of those guys that like to wear tights (skinny jeans) you should probably get one of those paper-thin fabric wallets that seem like they barely hold two bucks and your driver's liscense. The ID window is also high quality, durable plastic. At first I didn't like that it's kind of cloudy, but now I realize that this satin or matte finish plastic doesn't get all scratched up and shabby looking like the glossy thin ones. Lastly, the velvety leather does get scuffed and scratched by my keys just a little bit more than my expensive smooth wallet, however they are easily removed by rubbing it with your thumb whereas the ones on my smooth wallet are permanent.

Just the type of wallet I needed while traveling abroad. Holds everything I need.

Great wallet for both paper and coin Euros. I purchased this wallet for my trip to Europe and it worked perfectly. It has a divider to keep USDs and Euros separate and a zipper compartment for coins. Plenty of room for credit cards and a holder for a driver's license.
