Learning Without Tears - My Printing Book Teacher's Guide - Handwriting Without Tears Series - 1st Grade Writing Book - Capital and Lowercase Letters, Language Arts Lessons - For School or Home Use

We’ve been using the My printing book without the teachers manual. I purchased teachers manual because I felt like we weren’t doing enough and didn’t realize how Teacher intensive it is. I don’t think we’ll be coming back to this program next year.

In my experience, Learning Without Tears makes learning to print easy, even for challenged students. The approach groups letters of the alphabet with similar formation together. Students are given concise instructions on how to write and can practice writing with large and small motions and with different media. The lessons are engaging and just the right length for the students. I have successfully used Learning Without Tears to teach print and cursive in grades K to 3 and am planning to use Learning Without Tears in first grade in the upcoming school year.
