Inconsistent freshness & packaging. Pretty good on my latest order.
OK, so this is pretty much my favorite flavor of Starbucks by Nespresso. It would get five stars for that. I had bumped it down quite a bit because of old product, and because of shipping damage caused by poor packaging, but my latest order was actually pretty good. THIS time, it came in an actual heavy corrugated cardboard box, and the capsules are dated well into next year. So for the moment I'm pretty happy, but still wary they could revert to their old ways (or use a different supplier that's not as good). Original review: HOWEVER: the 50-pack I just received was produced TWO YEARS AND TWO WEEKS ago, and has TWO AND A HALF MONTHS (74 days) until the "Best before" date. Not cool, Amazon. Not cool. I mean, can I drink 50 capsules in 74 days? Probably. But I shouldn't have to. And I'd prefer my coffee to be a little fresher next time.
