Q: I cant really see the differense between high and low mist when switchin the button. How do i know that its running on high or low mist?

There is a difference. It takes about a minute to see the difference. It takes time for the mist to slow down, but there is a difference. Go for the low setting then come back over a minute later and the mist will be noticeably less.

Q: Can you turn the lights completely off for sleeping? Thanks!

The main light can turn off, but there is an "On" light that is too bright for sleeping. Because the unit is white, that little "on" light illuminates the entire unit in the dark. I haven't tried using any kind of electrical tape to cover the light under the unit's cover & see if that helps, though.

Q: How large of a space/room does it work for?

I have a 1,200 sq ft store that I use this in and it's been working perfectly for almost 2 yrs now. I'm ordering the 1,000ml one for my home.

Q: Does this diffuser act as a humidifier also?

A small amount of water is released into the air. Diffuser uses about 500 ml of water in a 10-12 hour period.
