Do the pieces kind of "lock" together securely? My mom is handicapped from a stroke, but likes to do puzzles. We need some puzzles that don't come apart as the person is working on them.

The puzzle pieces are thicker than normal puzzle pieces and go together very well. I would definitely say they "lock" together. It stays securely together while doing the puzzle. I work in a special education classroom and have bought this brand of puzzle for my students. They are able to do them and they hold together well while they are putting the puzzle together.

Our puzzle was missing a puzzle piece. i notice quite a few reviews mentioned the same. is customer service going to address this?

A few years ago I had a puzzle with a missing piece and contacted Ravensburger. They asked me to send the puzzle # from the box to their USA location and I was then able to select a replacement puzzle. We pretty much purchase only Ravensburger puzzles because it is rare that a piece is missing.
