I picked up this battery because I'm frequently on the go, and I like to be prepared.The Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation Pro feels very solid. The exposed aluminum hasn't shown any signs of scratching while its been tossed around in my messenger bag. The rubber is soft and feels pretty durable. The rubber also isn't a dust magnet.The operation is pretty simple and straight forward - there's only one button on the side. When nothing is plugged in, the button simply lights up the charge indicator LEDs. If an iPhone or another device is plugged in, the button shows the charge level, and then starts to charge the connected device.The Powerstation Pro has an IP-65 Ingress Protection rating. This means that it's completely protected from dust/small solid particles (that's what the 6 means), and it's reasonably water tight (that's the 5 part). The water test means that the unit can survive a water jet sprayed from a 6.3 mm nozzle from any direction for at least 3 minutes (Water volume: 12.5 litres per minute; Pressure: 30 kN/m² at distance of 3m). The product page on the Mophie website shows the Powerstation Pro being completely submerged in water for a short time. Will the unit survive this kind of accident? Probably. But the IP-65 rating suggests that your luck will vary if you take your Powerstation Pro for a swim. Don't submerge it if you can avoid it.The Powerstation Pro has a total internal battery capacity of 6,000 mAh. It can supply enough current for both standard and high-power USB devices (up to 10W). Don't swim with it.-It'll keep your smartphone running for at least one additional day... Probably two or three days.-Your tablet may need two of these for a full recharge.-Expensive, but it's a high-quality product. A worthy choice for Apple fans with discerning taste.

This is really a neat idea and works much better than the product description says it should. I have a second generation iPad and the battery was down to 40%. I plugged in Mophie and it fully charged the iPad and had two indicator lights left over. The Pro is well built and looks really cool when you pull it out to plug it into your phone or iPad; your fellow passenger immediately wants a rundown on what you are up to. One thing the product description does not tell you is how interchangeable the plug-in capabilities are from the Mophie to whatever you are charging. This is a very good product especially for those who travel a lot and need a portable power supply. For the latest iPad, if there is an Apple cord with a USB plug on one end and a new style plug that Apple is now using on their products, which I think there is, then you are golden.

I purchased this almost a month ago for my husband and his business. Due to his contracting work, charging is not always accessible for him. This unit fits in his pocket. Gives his phone a fast, full charge. He can even charge his phone while it is in the holster and pack is in the pocket, if necessary. The power station a has long lasting charge which will charge more than one device before needing to recharge the power pack. Very much worth the money.

This is a great power source for traveling. I can easily recharge my Iphone anywhere while traveling, in a vehicle, motel, ect. enough power to recharge my Iphone several times on one charge. The only downside is the small rubber tabs to plug into, they are sometimes divicult to open. Also it is not a pass thru charging device, which means you cannot charge it and charge from it at the same time. Happy Traveler.

These are great units. I have bought a few for my family and must fully recommend. I work sometimes away from power or on a trip where you need power for your iphone or ipad. This not only golds a charge but is small enough to bring with anywhere.it has a usb port in it so I would imagine it could power just about any other phone or tablet device with same USB configuration cable for charging.Would highly recommend. You will get multiple charges out of one full charged powerstation.

Very rugged, never have worries that I'll break it. Enough juice to recharge my phone/ipod for along travel day. Stopped carrying it as much when I got a new phone and the batter life was better, but if I'm travelling long distance I'll usually bring it with me. Has some heft, and it adds noticeable weight to a shoulder bag or backpack, but if you're going to be without an outlet for quite some time, it's worth it.

I love my Mophie Juice pack. It's a little heavy, but it fits in my purse/backpack, sometimes a big pocket - and once it's fully charged, it stays charged for a long time. I charged it back in November, and I've been checking it every once and a while, and it still has a full charge. I haven't had to use it, but whenever I do, it can fully charge a couple of devices. I use it on my Samsung Galaxy S3 and my iPad mini. It comes with the cord, which as a USB on one end and a micro usb on the other end (which usually fits most devices except for apple).

The ones selling for $45 from "The Good Discount" are fake, they have blue lights not green, rubber and gaskets are poor quality and the power cable is even fake, I need to confirm but the ones with [mophie] on the cabling are possibly fake. Power would fluctuate on device used. I am returning mine and filing a claim if I have too. Just buy this product at Bestbuy or Apple. Amazon get rid of this seller.

For some reason, both the charger it came with and a Samsung charger I own both will not charge the juice pack.

Charged it last night, in the hours since it is somehow half empty despite being stored without use. This is nothing like the other that bought directly from mophie.

does not hold charge after 2 weeks of use.

This battery pack is great. I've bought several of them throughout the years. They make tons now that are smaller and lighter weight, and can charge a phone 3-4 times, whereas...

Carry this everywhere I go in my purse, saves my life! Rugged for butterfingers like mine.

Not a thing worked beside the LED lights on the front. There is a button on the side you press to check the power level on the battery; it was completely unresponsive.

Well built and does the job of helping to keep my phone charged!
