Soccer Coaching Boards

If you're a soccer coach this is a "must have" purchase. During breaks in the game or during practices this clipboard makes it super easy to diagram things for your players. It's also extremely handy if you're a soccer parent and you are just explaining proper positioning to your child. Throw-ins, corner kicks, kickoffs, all are quick and easy to diagram on this dry erase board The surface is perfect for any sort of dry erase markers and writing wipes off cleanly. We purchased a separate set of 4 thin multi-colored dry erase markers to use with this product which we ducktaped to the back of the board. They sell this product in two sizes and having purchased both, we'd recomment the larger version if you're a coach (easier for the kids to see if you're diagramming on the sidelines or at halftime. The smaller version is perfectly adequate for home use with one or two kids. We bought our first for coaching winter indoor soccer and it worked great, but when our spring outdoor coach later expressed "clipboard envy" we gave it to him and purchased another for ourselves.

Although it is a little big to carry around, this clip board is a good size for charting out positions and showing players tactics. While I don't typically spend much time teaching tactics at the U10 level, I do occasionally like to point out something related to positioning, and this board's size makes it easier to do that. It also has enough room to write down more than one players name at each position, which was handy during a recent tournament when I had some guest players and a large roster. The "clip" part of the board is strong and locks down any papers you put under it, and the included erasable marker works well, also.

I got this for my husband. He coaches soccer, and it is sturdy. The pen is great. HOWEVER... it is rather large and I really wish it folded in the middle, because it's awkward to have a clipboard to deal with on a field. But it is a good product. Can't complain.

Love this for coaching youth soccer. Sometimes kids just need to "see it" in pictures. I use this all the time for my "under 8" girls team. Helps in getting them to learn their positions, where to aim throw-ins, where to stand on corner kicks, goal kicks, etc. It erases very cleanly with just a paper towel and some water...nothing fancy. Least expensive one I found and works perfectly.

Large format board, very durable. The rear side offers another close up of the net area from a one point perspective coming out at you. The black lines are durable and will not smear or smudge with repeated use. The metal top clip is the old 1970's push down foot blade that is nostalgic for some of us who remember them from long ago. The marker is a smaller format tip with small felt eraser, yet I use EXPOs on this with no problem. Kwik Goal makes quality stuff, glad to have it when I show my U13 girls set plays and 11v11 formations for new 6th graders joining the roster.

This is bigger than you think it is. This makes a difference if you're writing upside down. This is a very nice item for a great price. As a coach, I've used this to show young players very easily where to move on the pitch. I can teach offsides, overlaps and flanking attacks with ease.

Decent clipboard but warning it does not erase and the coating over the board is already peeling. I used it for about a month.

This board takes my coaching ideas and communicates them clearly to my team and supporting coaches. I love the fact that the visual is simple and fast (no batteries required).

Just received the soccer tactic board, and it is much larger than anticipated. May have trouble fitting it in a bag, but the size will be good for drawing out scenarios for the players!!!

I purchased this clipboard for use while coaching my daughter's team. Its worked out well so far. Its made out of a sturdy wood with a dry erase front side. There is a clip for holding your roster sheets and dry erase pen. Its big enough that I can mock up diagrams for 4-5 girls surrounding me. I saw some prior complaints about the dry erase marker included with the clipboard, so I've been using an after market dry erase marker without any issues. Would I recommend this clipboard? Heck Yes!
