We have a tradition at our home that we call "Sandwich Wednesday". My husband makes dinner every Wednesday night using our panini maker. (Wednesday is my favorite day of the week.) We have 5 or 6 panini cookbooks, but this one is the best. Why? It is diverse and has recipes ranging from simple to sophisticated. When you have a panini every Wednesday, you want more than just traditional ham and cheese-type recipes, and this cookbook fulfills that wish. It also has a lot of interesting and creative ways to use a panini maker beyond just sandwiches, which is eye-opening. Also, when the recipe calls for an ingredient that needs a recipe itself, like the pesto in the Shrimp Pesto Feta Sun-Dried Tomato Panini, the recipe is included. That's nice. You could still just buy the pre-made, but it's nice to have the recipe at hand and not have to go search for one if you want to make it from scratch. All in all, as a person who has more than 300 cookbooks, this one is tops if you've got a panini maker.

This is the Best Panini sandwich book I have ever seen--If you have this one you don't need another--Lots of beautiful color pictures that makes you want to try the recipe. To me that's what makes a good cookbook is having the pictures generate you to try that particular recipe --and so many authors just don't get it-- or they just haven't really made it, to get the picture.

This is a well-written resource for a panini-press novice, and I'm very happy with my purchase! I've already tried a number of the recipes, & have marked quite a few for future meal prep. It's also helped me to adapt some of my own recipes to this appliance, and surprised me with recipes for things other than sandwiches.

Loved the different ideas and recipes for Panini’s

I've had a Panini press for a couple of years. With this book, I've discovered great new sandwiches I should have been making all along. For what it's worth: I'm an old guy and since I've lost my wife, I have to do all the washing up for myself now. I put aluminum foil sheets into the press to hold the sandwiches and contain the mess. Easy/peasy clean up! "Oh, but it might damage the non-stick surface...." Who cares! If the cheese gets burned on, my scrub pad will rub it off anyway. I'd rather just foil it and forget it. Love the book. The author is a gem!

I got this book as a present and I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of recipes, plenty that are simple.

I love this cookbook. I’ve already made 3 recipes, and I’ve only had it for about a week. It’s well written with great photos.

I would have liked it to get hotter so meat is seared. It's ok but I don't like for myself.
