CLIF BLOKS Energy Chews - Orange - (2.1 oz, 18 Count)

I really like these shot blocks. I noramlly use GU packs so it's nice to have an alternative to those. They have a good taste and are easy to chew and swallow. They are a good price with one serving size to be three blocks and a total of six blocks in each pacakge. I like that because I normally cram them in a fuel belt pouch and each three at a time. I fold them in half and they take up about the size space as a normal GU pack does. I've used them for longer runs and as long as you hydrate they never give me any issues stomach or degestion wise.

Both of our sons play baseball - two seasons here in the South. The spring season extends into All-Stars in mid-July when the temperatures are 100F. In fact, today we'll be at the ball field for hours with the heat index up near 110. Ugh. We keep these Clif Shot Bloks to help our kids keep their energy level up until they can have food. If they eat shortly before the game or even have a hot dog during the game, it makes them sick. But getting too hungry impacts their blood sugar and that's not good either. This orange flavor has sugar/carbs and caffeine, which keep them at the top of their game even in the heat. I like that Clif Shot Bloks don't have high fructose corn syrup or fake ingredients like the Gatorade chews do. I've never seen them at Walmart or the grocery store, either.

Awesome flavor and lots of energy. Very addictive...wish they weren't just basically candy, but they sure are great during a long day of intense activity!

They get the job done, they don't taste terrible, and they're easy to chew. Packaging is a bit tough to open, which is a pain during a bike ride.

I work outside in Texas doing physical labor - it’s too hot to be eating big meals and I don’t get to take many breaks - these cliff blocks help me keep going for hours without weighing me down. I have also used them for marathons and an Ironman. The sweetness can get a bit much after a pack or two - and I have a sweet tooth! But I definitely recommend for any endurance athlete.

I use these every time I run or cycle. I only recently realized that the caffeine content is different in all the distinct flavors. These happen to have less caffeine then the purple flavor. If I saw that beforehand I would have went with another flavor with more caffeine. Make sure you know what you're getting. Otherwise these taste great.

These are great for energy on the go. I put them in my bag and have them ready to go. Plus, it feels like I am getting a treat.

These are a great pick me up for my son during athletic events. He likes the flavor and that he can easily put them in a back pack or eat them on the go.
