I have had monoscopes through the years and paid well over what this cost me. Here is my quick review .Build. Fantastic. Unlike older scopes I have had, this one has a ring around it that lets you twist the entire body around. Bearing driven, so that it clicks into place at small intervals. The ring is external to the body. So no interference with a sealed unit, which was my initial worry. End cap is like a camera cap, much better, with a screw on front cap. Tripod is what I expected, simple cheap, but okay for desk top viewing work. The phone mount is really well built. Steel and plastic parts, robust and once fitted correctly makes it easy to view. Suggest mounting the phone in daylight. I could not do it in the dark, too fiddly.Viewing quality.Have to say, spot on, no milky image here for me, clarity was good. Best option is always 20x as it lets the maximum amount of light in. Zooming in diminishes the light input but you get to see s lot more on a good sunny day.Great for general viewing, celestial and always use a tripod.Price. Bargain for £100. Well impressed, good buy.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great bird spotter, which i have taken some lovely videos with. Had this at a great price few weeks back. Bought a proper tripod separatley, so got a good set up with a bar stool too. (See photo). Fitting the phone attachment takes a bit of practise, but stick with it, fits my old samsung J6+ great. Highly recommend this spotter for bird watching.

This is great although got some getting used to, setting up the phone adapter is quite difficult but once you've mastered it you can quickly get it on and set up. The small tripod is pretty solid and all picture above were taken using it, my phone camera isn't great but they came out pretty well. All were focused perfect for naked eye, finch was about 5m away, woodpecker around 12m.

I bought this for my wife who has worked hard to tempt a variety of birds into our garden and loves watching them.The magnification on the scope is great and the mount for a smartphone is a bit fiddly at first but works well once you get used to it. The video accompanying this review was shot using an iPhone 7.I did mount the scope on a larger, sturdier tripod for her but the one it comes with is fit for purpose so no complaints there.All in, I think this a good quality scope for the price and my wife seems to like it.

Although the capabilities of this scope are pretty good for its price range, the build quality and materials used are cheap and poor.The strap that holds the scope mount on and loosens to allow you to rotate the scope eyepiece to different angles snapped on I first use, it seems to be made from a cheap plastic and not a sprung steel as better quality scopes have.For this amount of money I’d expect better and have returned the item for a refund.

I am most impressed by the clear images captured on my iPhone 6 Plus though its worth mentioning that patience and care is required in setting up the phone mount but after a while practice soon makes perfect. Purchased for bird photography in my garden the results are amazing and has provided me with a fascinating new interest during lockdown. One minor issue was speedily and courteously resolved by Gosky customer service . Incidentally I also purchased separately a bluetooth remote shutter release for a 'fiver' which eliminates any camera shake.

I bought this to view the birds in my garden, and it does that job well. At a range of about 20 yards, the image is clear (I put it on a better tripod than the one supplied).But - I was also hoping to use my Iphone to take some bird pics. You can judge the result for yourself, but aligning the phone lens with the scope was more difficult than I had imagined.Not yet tried astronomy, hoping to see a Rover on Mars.

Easy to use, not too heavy to carry, solidly made and great clear magnification. Phone adapter is a bit fiddly but I’m sure it will get easier the more I use it! Would definitely recommend this product
