I was pleasantly surprised at the light output. Its pretty bright and will be very useful.I could nitpick this light, but for the money it's quite a deal. I love the light temp control and the 0-100 power control is great also.So far, I have 2 that I'm testing, but if these hold up, I'll buy 4-5 more.4 stars, instead of 5 because their customer service is non existent. I asked a simple question 2 weeks ago - I had to fill out their "contact" form on their web site -- needless to say, they never responded. I called and got voice mail.

color has about 15 points of green in it, but that's expected for something this low cost. The mini ball head is garbage, but the light and batteries and everything are great.

Flexible and sufficient for moderate pro use as an on camera key/fill or a traditional interview fill. I loved it so much I bought another. Ive used it on everything from an event shoot to a pro gig with Travel Channel. A colleague recommened this to me and he uses it for pro interviews all the time. Fancier is quickly becoming the best supplier of mid-level lighting gear at a competitive price. I also have their first gen 500 LED lights and they are superb paired with a Bescor battery.

Started flickering a few months after I got it. Also-- if you don't remove the batteries from the device it will drain them. Bought a cheaper light and I love it way more. Returned this one. Had a lot of promise with the specs but couldn't live up to it.

Bright, smooth light, rugged and durable body, 4 hour battery life and dial in color temperature make it ideal for all video and film work. A set of 3-4 of these lights are ideal for interviews and lighting any subject within 7-9 feet.

It was okay. In a few settings it is useful, but really, not very many — especially not as an on-camera unit.After roughly a year of very light use, it burned out — literally, there was a pop and smoke came out.

I had to open it and try to fix the bad contact it had, the light was going on and off and then stopped working! Now it works but it's not dimmable anymore...
