I purchased this art paper for a class and have been really impressed! The weight is perfect…sturdy enough to handle multiple layers of charcoal without tearing, warping, or buckling. It has just the right amount of tooth to grip the medium well, but it’s still smooth enough to allow for subtle shading and blending. It came packaged neatly and flat, with no creases or bent edges, which is always a plus.Highly recommend this paper for any artist working with charcoal, graphite, or even pastel. It’s held up beautifully through erasing, layering, and heavy shading, as you can see in my still life drawing. Great value for the price and easy to use. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

The heavyweight, acid-free paper handles sketching and shading well, making it great for beginners. Its large size and spiral binding make it easy to use, and the quality ensures a good drawing experience.

I use this product and others from the same company. Quality paper, horrible packaging. Corners are always damaged. Fortunately for me, I don’t need the entire page as I always account for a couple inch border when creating my drawings. The price is right but keep in mind that the corners will probably be bent. That being said, the smaller sketch books have always arrived perfectly, but this large one is poorly shipped.

This paper is black, thick and high quality. It is so thick it will not bleed through, but that wouldn't be a problem with black paper anyways. It's smooth and it comes in a easy tear spiral binder that is sturdy enough because the paper is thick.
