Instant gradification yes
If you are looking for a polaroid then you will not be disappointed with this product. The film is a little pricey at $1.00 a print, but the quality is great. The size of these prints (about business card size) makes it easy to use in scrapbook mini albums, cards, on the refrigerator, etc. The retro style of the camera and prints are fun and a real attention getter. Children love when you hand them an instant print. Used the prints at a wedding in a guest book. Everyone took their picture and placed it in an album with a little note tagged message. Really fun. The quality of the pictures is pretty good. Just make sure you fill in the viewfinder with your subject because you will get a lot of background if you don't. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

Best Recent Purchase I’ve Made
I absolutely love this camera, I have taken it along when meeting with friends, we had a blast with it recently while at a club and everyone got a picture to take home, it is best for taking pictures of friends, family or your pets, works best somewhat close, one younger friend was absolutely amazed that the photo developed on spot, she now carries that photo taken of her and ourselves around at her performances in her violin case, very happy with this camera and it’s super easy to use and also very nostalgic, photos aren’t super HD sharp but still good enough and it’s great to have just take a quick photo and have a memento.

Cute - but not that cute
The concept is cute ( I get it!) . My child & I will have a camera with instant pics. - yay! But, the pics are so miniature it's hard to see faces on pics. A group shot? Only have fun with it . Because, it won't be centered and you won't know who they are ( unless you took pic). I Haven't figured out what is wrong with centering ?! Every time it looks centered through glass it develops off to one side?! The only way I know how to deal with this camera .. 1) focus on 1 particular person/ item 2) close up shots It is miniature pics so get the best you can for the price.

A great little camera!
How well I remember the Polaroid cameras througout the many years we owned and upgraded with the times. Well, other than simplicity, lightness, and smaller instant pictures...the 300 Series will make you smile and bring back fond memories to those loyal Polaroid customers from decades ago. For those shutter bugs who don't want or need all the bells and whistles to learn or experiment with and pictures the size of a business card, this is your answer. The diagrams tell it all with a few sentences to back up each step and you are ready to take your first instant picture. Depending upon your setting, you may have to experiment with the settings to get just the right color tone or you may be able to pick, set, shoot, and wait for your instant picture to develop before your eyes. It is a fun camera and great to have pictures within a couple of minutes.

a new hope
Polaroid finally recreated a relic of their past and changed things up a bit. Technically, Fuji-Film did considering this is the same camera with Polaroid's name on it, but that's another story altogether. I'm not sure if these two cameras are EXACTLY the same since I've heard that the film is interchangeable as well as not interchangeable. You can decide on that. However, this is a nice little camera. I purchased this camera for a couple of reasons; 1st I love and collect Polaroid cameras, 2nd I missed having any non-expired film for my older Polaroids, and 3rd, I wanted something different to bring to my advanced level Photography class. I've had this camera for about 2 weeks now and am trying to get used to it. The pictures are smaller than the original Polaroid pictures most people are used to seeing. They are a little bigger than half the width and a little bit smaller than the length of the originals. It's about the same as the quality of Polaroid 600 film which helps keep the nostalgic look and feel to the images themselves. You can get a pack of film on here for 9.99 for ten pictures. My advice is to get three of these packs that way you don't have to pay shipping and there is no sales tax (it's the cheapest way). The camera itself does have some problems. The flash cannot be turned off. It can be overpowering to say the least. The flash seems to have a sensor next to it to compensate how much flash it needs, but even with all the lights on the flash can wash out the color of any picture. The only thing you can do is to diffuse the flash and that's about it. I have shot about 2 packs of film inside using the indoor setting. I tried diffusing the flash with see-through plastic party cups (cutting out pieces that fit directly on top of the flash) as well as clear-frosted CD cases (holding them over the flash) and even an old Polaroid filter from a model 180 (again, holding it over the flash). The results were interesting. Instead of just diffusing the flash, this acted like a filter for the lens. Again, this is due to an overpowering flash. There are even some people who put a special gel pack over the flash which can help with diffusing. When I tried to put the filter over the lens itself, the pictures came out much darker. I am still playing around with this camera and will take it outside to see what results I can get there. Maybe the flash won't be so overpowering on a different setting with the help of the sun. The camera also is slightly curved on the bottom as well as lacking a tripod mount. I know many similar older Polaroids were without the tripod mount, but they were all flat! Yes, the camera can sit flat, but with the slight curve it can fall over with a small tap. I still look past all these flaws and love the camera just as much. All in all the camera is fun, the pictures are fun, and it makes for a better 'party' camera; instant satisfaction.

Love this
I was so sad when Polaroid discontinued the film and camera a few years back. I had a special project coming up that a Polaroid instant picture would be perfect for. So I started searching and found the new generation. It's fantastic. I love how you turn on and off they camera by pulling on the "lense." Love the indoor/outdoor lightening options. And love passing out the finishing product. It's been super fun. I completely recommend it. Yes, the prints are half the size of the old ones, but now they fit in your wallet and you can carry the pictures with you wherever you go. What a treat.

Great camera!
The camera is awesome! It is creative and different and makes taking photos more exciting. I bought this camera for my boyfriend and he loves it. I chose it because he doesn't take pictures all the time but I knew he would appreciate a camera he could use occasionally for some great pictures to decorate his room with. Be warned that the film is expensive so it costs to take lots of photos.

Je viens de recevoir mon "joujou", des amis sont passés ce soir, l'appareil passait de mains en mains, beaucoup d'entre eux croyaient que c'était un gadget, jusqu'aux prises de vues. Personnellement je le préfère à l'instax mini 8..... Le mode d'emploi de cet appareil est fiable et facile a comprendre, les réglages stables et efficaces, bref le bonheur;

I bought this for my niece's 11 birthday party and what a happy day! The kids absolutely loved the fact that they could all stand and wait to have their individual photos taken to take home with them. The product is very well make, solid and easy to operate. The downside is - the films are rather expensive, but one does not use it all the time. Just special occasions for the fun of it. KIds really enjoyed the day and I am not sorry I bought it.
