Rugged, comfortable work pants with thoughtful features
I love these pants. They have useful pockets and a handy loop. They fit true to size. I’m 5’8” 180 lbs, with a short waist, long legs, thick thighs, and solid butt. I ordered the medium tall, and they are perfect. I have an older pair of the medium regular. They are annoyingly too short, but still excellent quality pants, after many washes. I have a pair in size large regular, from when I was 30 lbs heavier, and those sadly do not stay up, anymore. My other pairs have lasted 3 years and 5 years, through very physical jobs on horse farms and in an auto shop, and they still look like new. As with all my expensive lycra-containing leggings, these get hung to dry, and never go in the dryer. I expect the new pair will last a long time, too, since Carhartt makes genuinelyrugged clothing with thoughtful design.Highly recommend.

Just buy them.
These leggings are not lightweight. They will do well through the colder seasons. They are not the typical yoga style leggings, the fabric is heavier. There’s still great stretch, and these are made to last. Amazon sizes told me to get an XXL, but I followed other’s recommendations and sized down to an XL. I like longer leggings and ordered the tall length. They fit great, not too tight, and because the fabric isn’t super stretchy, they’ll still look good if I lose a little weight. I love the pockets! I’m going to go back and see what other colors they have.

Great Chore Leggings once you find your right size
Waist 27, hips 35, inseam 29-30. Both the small and x-small in regular and short lengths work ok in the midweight and lightweight for me. Xs short is my preferred size because they completely stay in place once they’re on; small short is fine but a little roomier after I’ve been moving a bit; regular length, I have to bunch at the knee or ankle. They both will stretch but not a ton. I was needing pants that would fair well to outside work and do well around animals and have enough room for my phone. I’m currently clearing trails with a blower and mix of saws and cutting briar vines. Women's jeans have such shallow pockets that my phone kept falling out. Both the lightweight and midweight Carhartts have proven durable and comfortable, both with plenty of phone pocket room. It’s a little more than challenging to find your right size, but it is totally worth the frustration. Hopefully, this review will make it a little easier for you. The midweight have darted patches over the knees. If these patches don’t line up, you can’t bend your knee. I’m a 29-30 inseam, so for the midweight, I need a short length. If you get the wrong length in the midweight, you have to bunch the fabric at the knee, not the ankle. Altering the midweight length will not work; the lightweight don’t have this issue. Because they don’t have patches, the regular length in the lightweight just means a little extra material at my ankle that will go in my boots. The lightweight material is a little stretchier than the midweight material. The material on both at the calves is not forgiving and a little tight. (I do have athletic calves). Going up a size, gives you a little more room in the calf area, but just a little. Both are a little difficult to first get in to but feel great once they are on. For field or barn work, both are great- the midweight is a little more durable but hotter. The midweight are fine up to about 75-80 degrees outside; otherwise use the lightweight. For office work, the midweight could look appropriate with boots but not the lightweight. Seams on the lightweight run on the sides and look more like a workout legging. I hike and run but would not recommend either of these for that. Use them for what they are made for- outdoor chore leggings. Pockets are different in all of the styles. The midweight have front and back full pockets and a small side pocket. The lightweight have a right side zippered pocket and double pocket on the left side that I use for my phone. The lightweight ankle are a 27” stretched inseam and have no zipper but pockets on both sides (go with these if you are petite). I hope this review helps someone. These really are great leggings.

Carhartt quality
Alright ladies, let's talk about these Carhartt women's leggings I found in my “suggestions” on Amazon. If you're on the hunt for leggings that are as tough as you are, look no further. These babies are the real deal.First off, the fit is absolutely spot on. They hug your curves in all the right places, providing a flattering silhouette while still allowing for a full range of movement. Whether you're running errands or tackling a DIY project, these leggings have got your back (and your legs!) covered. But here's where they truly shine: durability. Carhartt is known for their tough workwear, and these leggings are no exception. The fabric is thick and substantial, making them resistant to wear and tear. Say goodbye to flimsy leggings that start pilling after a couple of wears! These beauties are built to last.Oh, and did I mention the comfort? These leggings are so incredibly soft and cozy, you'll never want to take them off. The stretchy waistband ensures a comfortable fit throughout the day, no matter what you're up to.So, if you're in need of leggings that can handle whatever you throw at them, do yourself a favor and snag a pair of these Carhartt women's leggings. They're stylish, durable, and oh-so-comfortable. Trust me, you won't regret it. I bought three pairs.

Quality & Comfort
I purchased for work wear. I am 5' 3" tall and weight ranges from 145 to 153 currently. Purchased size large and fit is good, not snug, loosen slightly as day goes on. Price seemed fair for the quality. As an autobody parts manager, I am bending, lifting, twisting and in and out of buildings walking a lot. Quality material moves with active life style. They have been warm enough for cold winter weather so far, but have not tested for prolonged time outside. I like that there are pockets on both sides for phone, box cutter or other smaller items. Comfortable for 12 hour shifts. If indoors all day would be too warm for me at 55 years of age.
