Good Stuff!
So, I'm a college student and tried to paint my home away from home as cheaply as possible...I don't know what all the complaints are about...?! Honestly, it's no worse that a value set that you get from Walmart or Home Depot. In fact, I think it's better than anything you'd get from Walmart because it comes with more than just one roller, one pan and a brush. I was pleasantly surprised to find the pan liner.. it meant that I could reuse tray and save myself even more money. I used the tray & liner for the primer then took out the liner and used just the tray for my main color. The mini-roller worked well for edges. If you're looking for an expensive roller w/ an expensive brush.. then buy them separately, that's not what these value sets are for. Obviously you're going to only get materials that can be packaged together w/o a loss for $11.38.I would use it again.

Good value
I'm not going to lie....the quality ( besides the pan) could be better, but price wise you can't beat it. Would have cost me an arm and leg buying each individual piece. I did use a different roller head than what came with the package again quality but when it came to painting I couldn't ask for more. The pan though is solid, I really wasn't expecting that.If you need to get a job done quick without the guessing this is a good product worth having.

Good for the price
Worth it for the price, but still expect a cheap product. Each big roller only lasted on about two walls before they started to wear down and little tufts started coming off in the paint on the walls. Same with the brushes; the bristles started to come out after a little while. In the end, it was worth the price to get one big room painted. If you have a bigger project, or are willing to wash and re-use your rollers and brushes, I would recommend getting a higher-end product.

Great Value, pretty cheap quality
I bought this to paint a room (first timer) and bought a bunch of things online to save money. This is a great deal, but the items are pretty cheap quality. A brush at a hardware store may be $6, but it's top-notch and much better quality. I learned my lesson when I applied my first coat and it was extremely thin - so thin that when I applied touch-ups (different brush) it looked like a different color. This package does the trick with quantity, but I wouldn't really recommend it unless you really need to save money. Painting a room is simple but the costs can add up, so while this is a great set, you may find that saving time with better quality is worth you paying more.GRADE: C

Great for small jobs.
You get enough equipment in this set to paint anything short of an entire room. The only thing that was useless was the foam brush. There is a another set just like this one (or similar to it) that includes an edger. That will be the one I get next time.

Not intended for use
This should be offered under "children's section." I first used the sponge brush to seal a piece of wood. Immediately the sponge fell off the handle so I had to hold it in my hand to complete my project.Next I used the roller to do a wall. The wood handle looked flimsy and is. Doesn't not stay in the rest of the roller. It is good if you have a wood stove to burn it in.Next the paint tray came with a plastic inserts which I thought was neat. It fell apart half way across the first wall. The paint brush included is a measly 1 1/2". Useless for doing walls.I wouldn't dare try the skimpy 3" roller.Throw away the wood handle, this becomes a very good set for your children to play wall painting. As one review said "You get what you pay for."

Worked well.
It worked well for what we needed. We ordered two when we bought our new house and it got us started. It was a bit hard for us to find tray liners to work after, but wasn't a huge deal.
