Great watch brand.
The media could not be loaded. Great watch and love the size. At 52mm it really stands out. Readability is great and really good. Timekeeping so far is excellent and being a G-Shock its durability will be top notch. Haven’t tested the water or scratch resistance yet but so far the functionality is really good.Highly recommended and this is my 2nd G-Shock so I’m very pleased with the watch.

Casio G-Shock . Recommended it
I have had Casio watches for many years and still have 2 both still working after many years,So I saw this and is my first Casio G-Shock watchA good looking watch with the yellow strap. It's a nice looking watch with striking anologue hands that stand out from the dial,.You also get a small digital display 3 0 Clock which is also used for other functions ,like Callender ,Stopwatch, and Day of the WeekThere is also 2 Coloured dials set at 6 .0 Clock for Seconds and Sub seconds and a back light Switch. All in all a good watch at a good price and can be used by Divers up to 200 Meters underwater without any problems. Some watches you have to worry about the Crown button being screwed in all the way or water may get in , with this watch ,you don't have that worryAt first I found it complicated to set up .So I looked on Tube at the video a few times ,but I thought there might be a better way so I downloaded the Manual for the Casio G-Shock GA 2000 A9ER and it gives all the details you require to get the watch set up .Time keeping , World time, Home City Settings, Adjusting the the digital and date settings. Then if you go to the last page it gives the City Code Table.I found LON for London and set it ,then it gives a list of of Cities that go from minus 1 hour to minus 11 hours GMT and also and plus hours from GMT to 12 hours.I found this the easiest way to set up the watch and you can do step by step at your own pace.I bought 2 quick release straps 1 leather and the other a Nato Sports StrapAll my previous Casio watches are still working 1 after over 10 years and the other 6 years. So I would recommend Casio watches and will update on my latest the Casio G-Shock in the future

Love the watch. Amazon were helpful in replacing
There was an issue with the order. Amazon were helpful in arranging a replacement to ensure it arrived in time for Christmas. The watch itself is great. Looks amazing and is light and comfortable to wear.Had it for a few years now and altjough I have a large collection, this is my go to daily watch. Looks great and is bulletproof. Strap is surprisingly comfy too.Don't quite understand why people are so confused with setting it up. It's straightforward enough.I love it - one of my favourite watches as it's just so versatile.

Great G Shock, modern and excellent quality
This was my first G Shock purchase and I love the watch. Modern, big, but yet first really well on my smallish 6 1/4" wrist. It takes a while to set up, I just watched a YouTube video and it was fine. Once set up for the time that's all I need really, not interested in the other features. It's a shame they don't make this in tough solar and auto timing, but hey, not many watches keep perfect time. The G Shock 5600 series (the 80s square model) comes with solar and auto timing and is also worth a look. All things considered though, a great watch at a very reasonable price point. Interchangeable strap as well.

Bold, tough, and versatile—Casio GA-2000 nails analogue-digital timekeeping with rugged style.
⌚ Casio GA-2000-1A9ER – Full ReviewThis watch is part of Casio’s G-Shock series, known for shock resistance, rugged build, and multifunctional design. The 52mm case is large and assertive, ideal for visibility on-site or during active use. The analogue-digital combo dial gives you the best of both worlds—quick glance readability and digital precision.Key features include:Quartz movement with dual time zonesStopwatch, countdown timer, and alarm functionsDay/date/month displaySuper LED light for night visibilityCarbon core guard structure—lightweight but impact-tough200m water resistance—safe for rain, mud, or washdownsBlack resin strap—comfortable, durable, and sweat-resistantThe yellow accents on the dial add a pop of visibility without being flashy. It’s built for site work, outdoor use, and casual wear, and the button layout is intuitive even with gloves on.✅ ProsLarge 52mm case—easy to read, bold presenceAnalogue + digital—versatile timekeepingShock-resistant + water-resistant (200m)Stopwatch, timer, alarm, world time—fully featuredCarbon core guard—lightweight and toughLED backlight—clear in low lightResin strap—comfortable and hard-wearing❌ ConsLarge size—may feel bulky on smaller wristsNo solar charging—battery-powered onlyNo Bluetooth or smart featuresResin strap—not as breathable as fabric or silicone🧠 Personal VerdictThis watch is a proper bit of kit. I’ve used similar G-Shocks for site timing, travel, and weekend wear, and they hold up—tough, accurate, and no faff. The analogue-digital combo is a win for quick checks and detailed tracking, and the 52mm case makes a statement. For around £59.99–£89.99, it’s a solid grab for anyone who wants function and durability without overcomplicating things.
