It’s been 2 years of using this wonderful light which is very much useful. We’ve scheduled a timer at 18:00 pm itself to ON and have adjusted a dim yellow light at 23:00pm when we are done all our household tasks and 6:00 am to OFF in the next morning. The most exciting thing is that it has a WiFi connection and whenever we are outside of our home, suppose if the timer has not set we can operate it just in fingertips of our mobile phones from anywhere around the world. It is not necessary for any relatives to come and turn ON the lights when we are away from home for any reason like it could be trips etc. Thank you Wipro and thanks to Amazon to know about this product while I was just browsing some other products and purchase it an easy way and also affordable. Also I’ve been referring many people about this product which is worth buying.

I always felt that the smart LED lights (which I have many) is not enough bright for reading or working. I have smart LED lights from Wipro also but it's Okay for normal use, not for reading or working. I came across this smart LED batten a couple of weeks back and I decided that I'll buy this for sure. Now, I have seen normal LED battens with Color changing capabilities. I always wondered why no one has launched smart capabilities with LED battens in India. Wipro came to rescue at this point. Now for the review part: It does the job well and as claimed. The normal Color changing(only the temperatures from warm to cool) battens without the smart capabilities can only be set to three temperatures i.e. Warm, medium and cool but this smart batten is capable of any desired temperatures upto 6500k. I like the product and is very bright. I have replaced my conventional tube light with this and believe me I find it much brighter and enough for reading or working. I was familiar with the Wipro Next Smart Home app already(I have mentioned above I have their smart bulbs too) so I won't go into the topic in this review. The app works well and is pretty neat. Alexa had no trouble at all while discovering or accessing the device. This batten is working well with Alexa. Best thing is that it doesn't need a hub to connect to the network. Overall a good purchase and I am happy that Wipro initiated the batten lineup for smart battens. I will definitely replace more of the conventional tube lights in my house with this. The price is also very reasonable for what you are getting. I'll update the review as I use it for a while as I got it today itself. Overall a very good purchase. Thanks for reading!! PS : Wipro smart home products doesn't supports IFTTT yet and I don't know why they advertise so. I don't know may be in future they will add a support but as of now be advised that there is no IFTTT support. ----------------------------------------------------- EDIT : They do support IFTTT, It's the name of the service which is different there. You can search the service in IFTTT by the name SMART LIFE. I don't know why they kept this name instead of just Wipro but the fact here is you can use IFTTT services with this product. I am also attaching a screenshot for the same. It's my mistake I didn't researched it properly prior to posting this review. I never thought that there can be a totally different name for a service from a well know brand. This completes this product and makes it highly recommend from my side. Go for it. PSS: One more thing I read a lot of comments and reviews here stating about it's state retention. Yes, it doesn't retain it's state when the power comes back after the power outage. This is a drawback where too much power failures occur. But, this doesn't make this product less useful as you can switch it off from anywhere in the world. For me it's not a big issue, and is a safety feature used by most smart lights in case of emergency. Even the Philips hue added the feature of last on state a while back. Hopefully this can be done in these lights too in near future by a simple software update.

While the product in itself (along with the app) is good as far as the brightness and app features are concerned, the benefits of the tubelight stop there. Owning this has been an absolute nightmare for many reasons: 1) At the offset, let me clear any misconception anyone might have about this being an Indian product and thus needs to be supported. While I am not sure where the tubelight in itself originates, the app that controls it is a well-known Chinese app that has a Wipro skin to make it seem native. So please don't be swayed by the 'India' tag and fall for this cheap product. Why cheap, you ask? Let me explain. 2) Once it was installed, the tube light without any reason just turned off within 5-6 hours of usage for me. It showed as 'Offline' on the app, and there was no issue with the power source when tested, so it was clearly a case of product failure. And that leads me to the next stage of problems. 3) The Customer 'Support': On paper, Wipro has a customer care number but it is anything but helpful. When you call to register a complaint, the rep will claim that the product will be replaced and that you will get a callback within 7 business days. You will also be told that Wipro allows for two options: Either you can courier it to the nearest Wipro representative and they will ship a replacement, or you can opt for a hand-to-hand exchange at your nearest authorised Wipro seller. And rest assured, this customer care team does not understand the concept of callback. After a few days of waiting, when you call, you'll be told that you'll get a callback from the backend team "for sure" in a day or two, but that will never come. And when you finally get frustrated of calling them and being promised a callback, and you demand a local number to directly resolve the issue, you'll be provided the number of one 'Mr. Raju' if you are based out of Karnataka who is more elusive than Houdini. 4) It is safe to assume that this Raju will never bother calling you. When you finally call him yourself, he'll put on the drama of searching for the nearest center and then tell you that it is not possible and you'll need to courier it to his address. Apparently, there is NO authorised seller anywhere in Karnataka and if you are based out of this state, the only way to get an exchange under warranty is to courier the product to his Bengaluru address (WHICH ON A SIDE NOTE IS A WARNING TO ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE CONSIDERING BUYING IT OUTSIDE BENGALURU WITHIN KARNATAKA: BE PREPARED TO INCURR MASSIVE COURIER CHARGES AS YOU TRY TO SHIP THIS SORRY EXCUSE FOR A PRODUCT TO HIS ADDRESS), which to me seems like a convenient excuse to claim having a warranty on the product, but make it so complicated to avail that most people just give up on this useless company. So, in all, no matter how much of a discount this product might show on Amazon, DON'T BUY IT! It is absolutely not worth the hassle in case you ever have any issue with it, and it anyway seems to be just a Chinese product under an Indian brand skin. STAY AWAY!

Work with wipro app new light are not connecting with google home and alexa

READ THIS IF YOU CANNOT RESET THE LIGHT TO PAIRING MODE!!!!!! The "Tube Light" part of this product is pretty good. The light is more than bright enough. Installation is just like a regular led batten. It looks sleek, and is hard to distinguish from a non smart batten. The "Smart" part of it is where the problem starts. Firstly, the Wipro app is basically the Smart Life app with a different start screen. For anyone who is looking to get started with Smart Home stuff, I personally recommend using this product with the Smart Life app, as almost every cheap Smart Home product works with that app. Having it all in one place would help you organize the gadgets and use the very convenient "Automation" features of the app. Secondly, the user guide is a complete rubbish. The first tubelight I bought was not reset, so I had to reset it. But the problem was that the app and the manual suggested two entirely different processes to follow in order to reset the light, none of which worked!!!!. Al last, I found the correct process through a YouTube video of an entirely different product (and that is where I came across the smart Life app). THE CORRECT PROCESS TO RESET THE LIGHT IS AS FOLLOWS: Turn it on for 2 seconds-----off for 2 seconds-----on for 2 seconds-------off for 2 seconds .... For about 6 times. Then keep it on, and it should start flashing after a couple of seconds. Once it was set up in the Smart Life app, it was automatically discovered and set up by the Alexa app. Google Assistant also worked without any problems. IFTTT integration is also flawless. Lastly, at this price, would have liked it more if it was RGB Overall, a very good product if used correctly. P.S. I did receive a damaged product at first. It was the courier company who snapped it in half. But it was replaced without much effort from me. Update Jul 2020: Smart Life has disabled the IFTTT integration on all its products, which is sad. However, if you really need IFTTT, there are work-arounds on the internet. Secondly, these have been working great . I have actually bought 3 more and installed it in other rooms, and it all works seamlessly.

Very good product, installation is like regular batan. WiFi function is amazing. Loving it. However it requires slower 2.4 Ghz WiFi. In future they should allow it to be installed on high speed Wi-Fi Overall great product
