AUTOSEAL Madison Reusable Water Bottle, 24oz, Blue

This is far from my first Contigo product. I have multiple water bottles and mugs that I have purchased from Amazon and Costco over the years.Without a doubt, this is my favorite one yet.There are a million quality water bottle manufacturers out there. The bottle that Contigo uses with this product is no different. It is a high quality bottle that you don't have to be afraid about dropping down a flight of stairs, on concrete, etc. However, the big differentiator with this water bottle is the AUTOSEAL lid.When you press the button, water comes out. When you aren't pressing the button, water does not come out. This is the same concept I have used in Contigo's hot beverage mugs. You can throw it in a bag, hold it upside down, or knock it over on your computer. The worst that is going to happen is the little bit of water from your last sip will spill off of the top. As a consultant, I am constantly in crowded work areas with lots of computers and power equipment. Having a water bottle that I can take everywhere with me and doesn't require me to screw, unscrew a cap to avoid spills is one of those great little conveniences.I could go on about the lid for hours. However, It is important to note the quality of this product. While this particular product may seem expensive for a water bottle, I can confidently say that you will break or lose this before there is a defect with the bottle itself. I fill this thing 3-4 times a day while at work and it is still just as spill proof as the day I bought it 7 months ago.Water is good for you, just buy it.

I never thought that I would be so excited after receiving a water bottle. I typically aim to drink 12 cups of water per day. Therefore, I have had my fair share of water bottles. The spouts, the sips, the straws; big bottles, little bottles, leaky bottles, drippy bottles. I have been through them all. I finally decided to invest in a quality water bottle that was durable and secure enough to take anywhere. After doing a fair amount of research, I decided to go with this bottle and have not looked back. It is absolutely the best bottle I have ever owned. First off, this bottle is extremely attractive. The design and color is very well done. Also, the BPA free Tritan plastic is thick and oozes quality. This is 24-ounces done right and is the sweet spot for me. It fits in my car cup holder, doesn't take up much desk space, fits into my backpack very well, and just looks sleek. Next, Contigo's AutoSeal is amazing. I have held the bottle upside down, tossed it in the air, thrown it across the room and not one drip came through. It creates a tight seal with the bottle so, I haven't had any issues with leakage from the seam either. The AutoSeal button isn't difficult to hold down while drinking. In fact, it, at least in my opinion, feels very natural. Lastly, you would think that a caribiner designed such as this is would be obtrusive but, it works! I hook it onto my purse, my lunch bag, my book tote, the seat belt, the back of the car seat and it stays. The caribiner is very well thought out and was not treated like an afterthought. I haven't had any issues with gunk buildup or foul odors. But, then again, I use my water bottle, well... as a WATER bottle. Yes, there are a few slight things that some could consider drawbacks. When filled with ice water, it builds condensation on the outside of the bottle but, that's what typically happens with plastic and ice cold water. This is not an insulated bottle so, don't expect it to function as one. Though, the high quality of the plastic has kept my water noticeably cooler. Also, when using small ice (crushed, "Sonic" ice, etc.) it can get trapped in the top not allowing the AutoSeal to fully close. This is easily remedied with a few upright shakes of the bottle while holding the AutoSeal button. For this type of quality to be held at such a reasonable price, I look forward to purchasing one in every color to give to the other members of my family. Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase. Excellent, excellent buy. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this bottle on the recommendation of a weight loss surgery friend (I am a post operative gastric banding patient as well) who swears this is a great bottle, not only for measuring your daily intake, but for a leak proof, every day bottle that can even stand up to hours at the gym.I purchased the Charcoal color and my ONLY complaint is it doesn't hold enough! I suppose a bigger bottle would be too heavy to tote around though.This bottle just blows me away. I find the mouth/ drinking area a little hard to clean without a dishwasher (my dishwasher has its moments) and I have a conflicting view on just how a dishwasher would clean and sanitize the little portion that moves to allow you to drink, yet some how it manages to come out perfectly clean.The clip is divine, I can clip it onto my backpack, gym bag, or even my purse (which has a carabiner on it) and not have to worry about it at all. I have not had a leak, a DROP even.I have only had this bottle for about a month, but I use it daily, all day long.I will probably be purchasing extras as so I don't have to wash the same one constantly and so I can have a spare chilled and ready to go.
