Arrived on time and was very tasty. Will order more in the near future. Also, it was dried to perfection. Some are alittle soft and to chewy. I like them dry.

Disgusting.

I’ve ordered this 11 times so far that should say enough about this lihing mui. I tried a bunch, looking for the one we used to buy at the crack seed shop out of the huge glass jars as a kid. Although this might not be salty enough for some, I love this one the most. It’s the perfect balance in my eyes—sweeter than salty and long lasting, suck on the seed after the meat is gone and it’s the best flavor. Plus it’s white and doesn’t leave your fingers stained red so Aunty can see you got into her red lihing mui the next day ;)

Worst Li Hing Mui I've ever tasted! Hardly any meat, only seed and seed covered with salt. Thought I was ordering the Sweet Li Hing that I enjoyed in a recent purchases. Upon receiving my order and realizing it was not what I wanted, I was thinking of returning the 3 packages but learned that this product can't be returned. What a waste of money for me as I will not be eating them.

Honestly, I should have read the reviews. Unfortunately this snack is not at all what I expected. I am from Mexico and am used to a snack we call “saladitos” very similar except they are VERY salty, much “meatier” and sometimes have a taste of limon. I am pregnant and have been craving these for ages, where I live you cannot find them in a corner store. I thought I did my research and found these! Again they are much more sweet than salty and completely miss the mark. I am dissatisfied because in the description in only mentions salty and does not say anything about being so sweet. Will have to find a different vendor.

These are more sweet/less salty than I remembered them being in my youth and far more seed than meat, but they’re still delicious. Shipping took a while, but I’ll chalk that up to me ordering them just before the holidays. You get quite a lot for the price, but if you’re an addict like me, you’ll probably go through the whole bag in less than a week. Just be careful, as aspartame is an ingredient and consuming too much at once can lead to a laxative effect.

Perfect sweet and tart but only if you like it in the first place. Shared with my teen students while studying China but they didn’t like it. I spent a couple years in Taiwan (where these are from) when I was young and these were a real treat then and so they are now. If you’ve eaten these before, you’ll know with the good ones, you can suck on the pit for an hour and it still has the flavor.
