Beautiful!
2020 PNSO “A-Qi” the Sinoceratops Late 2020 saw a flood of PNSO figure releases, among them was a gorgeous new Sinoceratops. What stood out to me immediately was the name “A-Qi”, as it is the same name given to PNSO’s baby Sinoceratops from earlier in 2020. So, little A-Qi has grown up, and what an absolute beauty she is! As with all PNSO figures, A-Qi comes with a pamphlet containing some nice photos, as well as information about A-Qi, and Sinoceratops in general. The head sculpt is near perfection. There’s a great variety of facial scalation. From the large scales below the eyes, to very fine scales on the frill, everything is sculpted with care. The horns look incredibly realistic. As is the beak. All of them are incredibly sharp. This is definitely not a figure for smaller children. The ear openings and nostrils are sculpted as well, and are carved very deeply for added realism. This all raises the figure to an incredible level of believability. The stunning sculptural details continue across the entire figure. The scalation is immaculate, and is some of the best I’ve seen. Large, rectangular scales cover the belly. Small, pebbly scales adorn the majority of the body, with the occasional large scale or osteoderm scattered about. The attention to detail with the skin folds and wrinkles is breathtaking. The pose sees the Sinoceratops turning sharply to the right, as if turning to face an oncoming predator. The muscles in the neck are flexed, the skin bunches on the right side, and stretches taut on the left. The bunching skin is wonderfully sculpted all along the right side of the body as well. Especially around the right rear leg as it pushes into the body. There are some great wrinkles on the elbows and knees as well. The left side shows skin stretching tightly, causing the rib cage to become visible through the skin. The left rear leg pulls the skin as it moves as well. Everything is just incredibly well done. There are lots of great small details as well, such as a cloaca slit (however, it’s not very pronounced) and the toe pads of each foot (which are also well scaled). The paint is applied with great care, and is quite beautiful. I especially love the patterning on the head. The head easily has the best paint application on the entire figure. The horns are painted realistically, with a nice gradation between an ivory point, and a darker horn base. The eyes are beautiful, and add a lot of character. I love the thin little ring of black eyeliner PNSO applied to help the eyes pop as well. The eyespots on the frill are a great touch too. (No strange head holes on THIS Sino!) The entire head is covered in a glossy coating, which is meant to give it a keratinous look. It really does look great, in my opinion. The body coloration is pretty plain in comparison to the head, but it looks great nonetheless. All of the colors are blended to perfection as well, and the scale work really pops. My only minor issues are with the nostrils and ear openings. I only wish that PNSO had applied some dark paint inside the openings to make them stand out more. I would have also liked to have seen the darker body striping from the baby version, carried over to the adult. Actually, those three little nitpicks are my only issues with this figure. This one is incredible, and I give it my highest recommendation!

PNSO’s Pinacosaurus is the pinnacle of artistic accuracy.
The Asian ankylosaurinae are often overlooked in favor of their North American cousins, but for 2021 PNSO releases Pinacosaurus grangeri. It was native to Mongolia and named in 1933. This beautifully stunning figure makes up for the 88 year absence from the public mainstream. This thyreophoran ornithischian reflects an alternate evolutionary direction in which the defenses seemed aimed at smaller maniraptoran hunters, rather than gargantuan theropods. The sculpt; Fantastically rich in detail with adherence to accuracy. Squat, wide, and heavily built, the morphology is consistent with these ankylosaurs from ancient Mongolia and China. The figure boasts all manner of dermal weaponry and features the forearm spurs which seem to be particular to these Asian ankylosaurs. The belly scales are sculpted with the same care as the top. The skull is broad, flat, with the anatomically correct muzzle and nostrils. The manus and pes are also correct and impressively detailed. The pose; Relaxed and tranquil, the absence of an action pose is not only appreciated but welcomed. The figure seems in quiet repose, with all four paws firmly planted, without haste nor concerns. The static pose in this case, compliments the sculpted details and makes for a most handsome little figure. The colours; Vibrant and brilliant, the pattern is based on the Australian Thorny Devil with a pallet of light olive with chocolate accents along the back with deep browns along the flanks and taupe for the underside and spines. The colours are dynamic and arresting, accolades are in order for a departure from stripes and earth tones assigned to previous figures. A multitude of accolades for this marvelous little figure. PNSO is rapidly becoming a premier company in producing prehistoric figures exceedingly beautiful, affordable, and scientifically accurate. I anxiously await future releases in the years to come.

Gorgeous replica of Pachyrhinosaurus
This little replica is so cute! Pachyrhinosaurus is painted so well, very good job for the artist who did it. It's a heavy model so it doesn't get knocked over easily. I love it ❤️

PNSO is Phenomenal. New 2020 Winter Wilson and New 2019 Wilson Tyrannosaurus rex is Amazing
2020 Winter Wilson: It is hands down the best PVC representation of Tyrannosaurus rex on the market. Absolutely show-stopping figure, it’s actually closer to being a statue despite not being resin. I can unequivocally say that this is the best scientific interpretation/reconstruction of Tyrannosaurus rex on the market. Phenomenal levels of detailing and sculpting went into this figure, from the interior of the mouth, to the toe scales on the feet. The most astonishingly brilliant part of this figure is the attention to proportions. The Tyrannosaurus rex not only looks bulky, but feels bulky. Large neck muscles holding one of the most powerful bite-force skulls to exist in history. Tiny arms that are actually correctly sized and not the very common issue of over-sizing. The length of the tail not being shortened for packaging reasons. And the sheer mass of the body are all brilliant interpretations of a Tyrannosaurus rex. Please see the photos provided if you have any doubts. I whole-heartedly recommend this figure and PNSO pulled out all the stops to get it to be the best. 2019 Wilson Review: The new paint scheme for the Wilson Tyrannosaurus rex is brilliant and deserves to be recognized for the amazing work that PNSO put into it. The images provided should show the depth of detail for the eye, and the fact that the gloss added to the eye adds a new dimension of reality to the figure. The overall figure is a lighter orange/beige that gradients down the body. There are subtle stripes and amazing dry-brushing effects for the texturizing of the already dynamic scaling. Will continue updating after some weeks with the figure. Looking forward to the Wilson with lips!
