I've taken more measurements to help with other's decisions, since I really needed them when I was deciding. I agree with the 9.1-inch measurement inside the exact bottom of the dome BUT notice there is a constant slope that begins immediately. At the place where you see the very top of the upper shelf shown in the photos, the measurement across the inside of the dome is 8 9/16th inches. So, about a half-inch less width at that point. This slope is going to make a difference to some 8-inch cakes, depending upon how much decorating at the top outer edge of the cake, whether you are using a plate or just a thin board, and how tall the cake is. I believe this will work for my purposes. I almost always make 3-tier 8-inch cakes, decorated. So larger-based domes I liked seemed too low in height to be confident buying them. However, with this dome I will be cautious how wide my frosting/piping is at the top of the cakes - maybe putting top edge piping on the actual top of the cake, not around sides. I'd like to think I can make 4-tier cakes and still display in this if I really want, but it could be tight. The height of a cupcake or treat set on the lower level can be 4.25 inches. The height on the upper shelf is perhaps the same in the very middle, but of course less for the rest. It will definitely be attractive for cupcakes, and I'll say it has surprised me with thinking about making them more often. A disappointment I hadn't thought of - my various pretty "9-inch" plates I sometimes use for cakes won't work. Even the one that is smallest still has a raised lip, and since a lip is slightly above the surface, it won't fit because of the slope - aw, so close! I have fewer "8-inch" plates I like for cakes, but they do work, of course. I just wonder if cakes will look the way I expect on those. I have a feeling I'll be using cake boards, which is fine. There were no scratches on the dome and nothing was broken - well packaged in a plain square cardboard box with NordicWare emblem/name. Right out of the box there was a slight off-gassing odor from the dome only, that I believe is fixed after soapy hand-washing. As other reviewers have said, this won't work as a carrier at all, and won't work for 9-inch cakes. All in all, I'm pleased, and since I already knew the limitations, I'm giving this 5 stars. I don't think you could give it as a gift, though, unless you knew the person's specific likes.

I like this stand very much. It feels plenty sturdy to me, and the holes are 5mm in diameter, so they fit a standard lollipop stick pretty well - not perfectly, since a typical stick is 4mm thick and will wobbly slightly in the hole. The spacing between pops is, again, pretty good. My cake pops are slightly over 1-1/2" in diameter--some of the ones shown are almost 1-5/8". As you can see in the second photo, some of the pops bump into each other slightly if they lean over in just the wrong direction, especially on the bottom row, since there is an extra outer ring of pops on the bottom. In the third photo, I've adjusted them so they don't touch, but as people reach for them at a party, the pops are sure to bump a little if they're more than, say, 1-1/4" in diameter. It's not enough to mar each other, however, so it shouldn't be a problem as long as the pops have dried completely. Also, if you used 4" sticks for the very outer ring and 6" sticks everywhere else, they would be far less likely to bump into each other. I'm very happy with this stand, and it really does hold 37 cake pops with only a 10" footprint. I totally recommend it.

I got it for lollipops. The holes are a bit too big for lollipops, because this product is meant for pop cakes, which have thicker sticks. It still works well and is very sturdy! Recommend!

I use this all the time when I make cake pops and I use it to travel as well so it keep the cake pops in place when the car is moving all the time. I love how sturdy and easy to clean it is, it looks presentable for nice events and loved it so much I bought another one! Great product!!

Highly recommend !! I’m no professional! I make cake pops for family (birthdays, Halloween etc) this stand is perfect! I put a cake pop stick in the top center and the balloon stick fit perfectly over it!!

I bought this because I wanted to learn how to do cake pops. I resisted learning this new wave of treats as I feel like cake pops are not necessarily equal to a piece of cake! This is my disclaimer! I did read the reviews and gave it my best try for the first time I made cake pops. The design seems pretty good as you use it. but I did have the same problem as others did of the cake pops touching. I tried to "bend" the lollipop sticks to keep them from touching - but that didn't work. I think only about five of them were touching in the end. It is sturdy, but hard to hand wash. Then when I got to the outer, lower row - the cake pops were the same height as the second row! So I had to trim the those sticks down or it looked weird. I was able to place cake pops on the bottom row right on the plastic to have some extra. I place the pops in the small liners for truffles. It did look nice but I don't think I could transport the cake pops to another house. I had in visioned a treat table of the cake pops, cupcakes in another stand and a cake on the middle. But I think it would be a nightmare to transport this stand. So I give it a three because it does work but it is not perfect especially for my needs. Side note: The cake pops took almost as long as cake and I am not for sure it was worth it. if I ever do it again, I will use a different recipe and coating. This stand did come on time and was packaged well. I think it would serve me better to decorate a piece of foam and place the pops in that for easier transport. I will use this stand for treats for my home only. I will not try to transport this stand.

This is a very nice and lightweight display for our desserts. Broke my glass cloche at our last event, so I was looking for something less fragile and this was the perfect solution. Appreciate the multi layer display and it kept the flying pests away from the goodies.

Es un producto que ayuda en la presentacion de las cake pops. Es de un buen material pero cuando entran adornos o chocolate de las cake pops en los orificios de la base es algo dificil sacarlos. El tamaño es adecuado para la presentacion de las cake pops y no se le adhiere tan facilmente los restos de las decoracione.

Me encantó lo práctico del producto! Especial para mesa de postres en las fiestas. Lo recomiendo porque además está a buen precio
