doTERRA Clear Skin Roll On 10 ml

First off, I want to say, I love this stuff. It really does the trick when my skin breaks out and I spot treat. I even rub this oil on problem areas of my face as a preventative. I love how my skin clears up pretty fast after applying. About half the time when I order this oil, it smells great. The other half of the time, it really stinks. I'm getting really frustrated that they cannot make this product to consistently smell good. Smelly or not, I do have to say, the product still works, but WHY would anyone want to rub on oil on their face that smells bad??? I paid enough for it that I do it anyway, but my husband hates the smell as much as I do. I don't apply it as often as I should because I'm sparing him from the awful smell. Next time I order this product and it stinks, I'm sending it back and asking for a refund.

I got this to see if it would help my daughter with her skin condition. Not as pleased with her results as I am on how it has helped some of my adult acne that flares up once in a while and clears it up

This is the first product that hasn't been a prescription that I have used that has actually worked. I'm 30 years old and have had zits since I can remember. About 6 years ago, instead of the larger zits I was used to getting, I started getting all these tiny little bumps all over instead. My esthetician said this was more along the lines of adult acne and are clogged pores due to over oil production. I've tried numerous things to get rid of them. Facials, different washes and lotions, and went to the derm and used topical cream as well as ingestive pills, which neither are good for you and I didn't like using. My dad actually told me about the doTERRA essential oils and I found this. I've been using it for 2 weeks and now the bumps have already cleared up significantly. Plus, my skin looks extra clean and healthy. The only downfall is the smell. It has a very strong lemon scent, almost like a lemon cleaner, but you get used to it. My boyfriend says I smell like a plant, but he has also gotten used to it. I put it on after I wash my face and let it soak in and follow with my moisturizer about 20 minutes later. I only use it at night, as I don't want to smell like lemons at work.I'm interested to see with continued use if my skin stays clear. If so, then I found a miracle product and it's natural.

I found that it works okay if used very sparingly (as it says to on the bottle) to help heal skin abrasions. However, whenever I've used it liberally on my face or body, my skin has broken out with a bunch of small bumps in that area. The small bumps last about a week and itch, so it must be a reaction to this formula, though I don't typically have sensitive skin at all. I've had much better luck treating adult/hormonal acne (including the bumps that this product caused) with witch hazel toner, lavender and lemon essential oils and colloidal silver.

My skin's likely just stubborn, but I saw no results from this product. It smells kinda nice, and stings a little when I apply it, but after over a month of consistent use, I've given up hope.

I love this product, however the product I received is a new formula, called "HD Clear" which is quite a bit different from "Clear Skin", but from what my DoTERRA seller told me is the updated version of the "Clear Skin" formula, which I was given a small amount of to sample and liked it so much that I tried to order more, and got this "HD Clear" instead. Anyway, I tried it and it worked just as well, so I'm happy. I have rosacea in the form of adult acne and it helps with the breakouts. I roll the roller ball in the palm of my hand and get a significant amount in there, then add a couple of drops of rosehip oil and a couple of drops of apricot or almond oil and mix it with my fingertips, rub it on the breakouts, and then add a little more carrier oil, rub my palms together, and spread it around on the rest of my face before bedtime. Sometimes I use a little after showering in the morning as well, under my sunscreen and makeup. It makes a significant difference and keeps the breakouts to a minimum.

I really love this product, however, I was disappointed when I received it. I was looking all over for the OLD FORMULA. Not the new clear skin.

This smells pretty lemony and can sometimes burn, but I've been using it in combination with the foaming face wash and I'm seeing a difference. It is making my acne a little worse because it's bringing everything up to the surface first just like most acne products but without the harsh chemicals. I love it so far! It came pretty fast in the mail as well.
