These are quality combs. Material is thick and durable. Small enough to fit in a bag, large enough to hold comfortably. There isn't a huge difference in the fine vs. wide tooth portions of the comb unless your hair is particularly thick, but I have found that both portions get the job done. So good that I bought a second for my office for bad hair days. If you're a user of the cheaper, dollar-store style, thin, scratchy combs, and wondering if the jump in price for this is worth it, I can confidently say the answer is absolutely.

At this point I have purchased so many Kent combs that I thought it appropriate to leave a review. The quality of the product is exceptional and you can feel it from the moment you pull it from its packaging. There is some weight to it and it feels sturdy. Having used mine for several months I can confirm that this is the case. Its one of the prettier combs I have ever used (not sure if that really matters too much). This particular model is fairly small and tapers at one end. The teeth spacing (again) narrows toward the tapered end. I have thick hair that I could classify as "long businessman cut". I dont think this would be suitable for long hair, but kent makes other combs that would be more suitable. My hair suffers from cowlick and this presents some challenges. I have really struggled to get the part and cowlick to play nice, but the narrow end (for some reason) really manage to convince the hair to stay down. From a review perspective the aesthetics and performance of this comb is outstanding.

I honestly didn't expect much from this comb, but it's honestly amazing. As soon as I unpackaged it, I realized that this was higher quality than I was expecting. It has zero flex to it and feels very solid. My last few combs have been retired after a few months due to the teeth breaking off, but I can already tell this thing is ready to last me a LONG time. I ran it through my hair and (this may seem hard to believe) it made it look better than my old comb. I'm not exactly sure why, but this comb glides through my hair effortlessly and leaves it looking smoother than other combs I have used. The fact that it doesn't bend is also a massive positive as it means you have a reliable tool for making a straight part in your hair. Just use the comb to line up where you want to part, and begin combing. Pros: - VERY solid build quality - Nice color/design - Glides through hair - Does not flex Cons: - None

Very comfortable on the scalp, noticable quality over a cheap plastic comb or brush. I wish it was slightly taller for a more comfortable styling experience. Would buy again.

This is a great comb. I used to use a comb from when I was a child, but stopped after moving to the United States. I regret that after using this comb. Have used different varieties of comb in the past 30 years, nothing has come closer in terms of smoothness (not hard at all on my scalp) and in terms of not entangling the hair strands. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat. My dad is a daily user of combs and when I bought him one of this, he was all smiles. He has very little hair, but he mentioned that the teeth of the comb are smooth and does not hurt him at all. If you are in the market trying to buy a comb for the first time or you have used other combs and are not satisfied with your current comb, I would definitely recommend this. Only comb I want to use. Bout one a while back and didnt know what to expect from a $10 comb. I like you thought that sounded a bit steep. But I went with it. Got it in the mail and laughed cause it looked well like a normal comb. Used it for about a moth or so before I lost it. So then being the penny pincher I am thought I would go to walgreens and get a cheap comb. Looked the same worked the same, but the teeth started breaking off within a month. by the end of the month there was huge gaps in the comb and well was unusable. I bought another Kent comb and am again very happy with my purchase. I carry my comb in my pocket and this is durable enough to survive that, and the I have never had one of the teeth break off.

When I took this comb out of the package I could tell the difference immediately, compared to typical inexpensive combs. There is much better attention to detail than is the case with injection-molded combs. It is amazingly smooth, it glides through my relatively coarse hair. Kent has an impressively broad variety of combs of different sizes, and I ordered another one that comes in a sleeve with a nail file. I disagree with the reviewer that pronounced this comb to be "junk" because he/she didn't think the teeth were long enough. It works well for me, but if you need longer teeth, then get a Kent with longer teeth!
