How long does a charge last?

Just bought the replacement battery and I have been using the laptop for the last 3 weeks and consistently only lasts 2 hours. Looking to return the battery.

Getting "non-genuine lenovo battery message" upon booting on replacement battery . Any way to get rid of this? Battery is performing fine as expected.

I would recommend take battery off and wait a few minutes and put it back. Personally, I did not have any message when booting. You may restart your computer and see how it goes. Good luck. Glad the battery is doing fine.

Will this battery work in a Lenovo G550?

I don't know about the G550. I bought this battery for my Lenovo G570 and it works perfectly. As good as the original.
