Simple to install, fixed the problem
Simple to install, fixed the problem. To test if this is what you need, put the key in the ignition. If you don't hear the chime, push it in and wiggle it. If the chime starts, this is the culprit. Of course pulling codes is probably the best approach :-)

Ford OEM parts - perfect as always
Perfect fit, installed easily. Did not fix no start issue…. Ended up being the starter motor as root cause.

Perfect replacement. The installation was a bit taxing but it was worth the effort, it resolved my problem of draining my battery.

Disappointed in Part Manufacturer as well as Amazon
DO NOT BUY...Would be zero stars if it was possible to submit that way (why isn't it?). Product was defective out of the packaging. It appeared to be good as it installed like an OEM, when engaging the part, it light up all the appropriate dashboard lights, but it failed to perform it's key duty of engaging the starter. It took a while to troubleshoot and I ultimately went to my local auto-parts store, got the exact same part, and it worked perfectly. It was more important to get the car up and running, as I had 10 other things on my plate to get done. To finally have the time to request a return, only to find out I am outside the return window, considering the amount of money I spend here, I would expect some type of flexibility in at least appealing.

Trust OE Brands
OE brands are reliable. That is why I specifically looked for Motorcraft for this ignition switch. I do not want to have issues with an aftermarket unit in the future.

la instalación fue muy fácil, pero al momento de probarlo simplemente no funciono lo probe varias veces, el resultado fue el mismo, el auto no enciende con este interruptor

I could have got this overnight at our local parts store. Price was the same and returns are possible locally. This arrived after two weeks without padding in a plastic bag. If Purolator had just tossed it on my cement porch it would have smashed. Another reviewer said to just buy locally but I wanted to ensure it was an original Ford part. In retrospect, local is OEM so why bother?
