I picked this little clock because it reminded me of one my parents had when I was a kid in the 60’s. I had forgotten all about that clock, until I saw this one. Of course a lot has changed since 1965. Or thereabouts. This one is silent. Love the sweeping hands and that it lights up. There is something comforting about objects that take us back to that simpler time. It’s possible that after a bad dream I crawled into my parents bed and stared at their little round clock until I fell asleep. I’m impressed with the looks of the clock. It’s a heaving brushed steel, feels solid in your hands. My old clock, while it’s worked great all these years, is plastic. Has a modern Made in China vibe. While this one is also made in China, it feels like a good old made in the USA feel to it. I like that the most. The ascending alarm feature was a welcome surprise that I’m pretty sure I’m going to appreciate in mornings when I have a hard time waking up. My plan was to have the two clocks set to go off at the same time to wake me up… it’s that bad! Now I may not need this at all. My new clock will beep, then scream at me “get up you lazy person!!!”

Just what I was looking for! Lightweight but solidly built, and simple to use – no tricky technology! And I love the green light – so convenient in the dark! Great for travel or home. What more could you want?

I dislike a clock that makes noise when I'm sleeping, and this one is quiet. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it makes a smaller footprint while still being easy to read. I like that the dials are luminous, but it has a button to light it up long enough to read the time before it fades away. A pretty, well-made clock that doesn't make a sound.

I really wanted to keep this clock, but there's no point because I can't tell what time it is! It is a very nice clock, sturdy and well made. But, there simply isn't enough contrast between the dial and the clock hands to see the time even when just a short distance away, much less across the room. The clear cover adds to the problem because it reflects so much light. None of this is apparent from the photo and description. Very disappointing!

Keeps good time, nice night light when needed. However, it is top heavy and keeps falling down whenever I touch the top.

This clock is built well and looks very nice. The sweeping second-hand motion smooth and silent. And the metal casing really makes this clock standout at this price point. The green light is also cool. For a lot of people, it will be good. I hate to knock it. Unfortunately, I really needed something with better contrast on the face to make it easier to read across the room and at night when the light is activated. I ended up getting something else (less cool looking), but I still liked this clock.

Quiet, lights beautifully, light weight and alarm is perfect. It does not blast you out of bed. Just a perfect sound. Very happy with this purchase. It is as described.

The clock is beautiful and works exactly like I wanted it to. The clock gets 5 stars but Amazon gets -1 because they sent a returned clock with a missing stand/cradle for it! Sending as new by Amazon is a real disappointment that happens too frequently. Not sure why they do that but it wastes everyone's time. I hope the next person that receives this 2-time returned clock doesn't give up.

I really like this clock. I rarely use the alarm, but the hands are glow in the dark. Works great.

Just the good seize for a night table and love it for the night light.
