Used this 3M Wetordry pack to smooth a few light scratches on the valve cover sealing surface after a stubborn cover came off. I went with 1000 grit, then 1500, using isopropyl alcohol as the lubricant. The sheets held up well, didn’t load up, and stayed flat around edges and bolt holes. After sanding I wiped the area with a rag soaked in brake cleaner and blew it off with compressed air. Surface came out smooth and clean; new gasket went on and sealed with zero leaks. Great kit for light finish work on aluminum go easy and let the paper do the work.
