The table kit is compact and sturdy enough to be a kitchen island or a breakfast table. Both the chairs and the table don't wobble too much and they feel sturdy, but I would not put too much weight on the table top. I added 45 lbs worth of weight on top of the table (the main surface, not the foldout leaflet) and any more weight would cause creaking noises. The very base of the table is a thin sheet of wooden board. I found it strong enough to use it as a footrest, but don't put too much weight on it either. Assembly: The table was fairly easy to assemble, with each piece having a distinctive sticker labeling the part. However, I ran into an issue with two of the smaller screws; The screws that held the hinges in place (part F) can easily strip and one of the screws meant to hold the chairs for storage (part J) snapped in half. My kit only included 8 'part J' screws so I had to improvise, but all of the other bags of screws came with at least one extra. There were also some minor flaws in the instructions that didn't accurately depict the pieces. Overall, its a nice little table that is perfect for areas where you have limited space.

Update: I bought this item in January 2021 and I am writing this update in Nov 2021. After almost a full year of regular use, I’ve removed 2 stars from my review (it was 4 stars when I first purchased, and is now 2 stars). My reasons for reducing my star rating is because the wheels were never able to work with this unit. Even with various types of glue, they just broke off every time. They’d break off before I even had a chance to put any weight on the table. On top of that, the film that makes the “wood look” on the table top has peeled off over time, probably just from regular cleaning. In addition, the stools have now started to fall apart. This was the most disappointing thing, because we don’t even use the stools that often. We actually bought a separate set of chairs that we use with the table, but the stools have still managed to come apart even though they only got used once in a blue moon. Overall, this is not worth the price. Especially since it looks like the price has gone up since I made my initial purchase and review. Please click the button if this update is helpful for you! — Original review (Jan 2021): Our apartment is really tiny (a true “tiny house”), so we needed a space-saving way to have more kitchen counter space while still having a place to eat. For the price, I’m quite happy with it. The only issue we had was that the wheels don’t seem to go into their holes deep enough, so we are using it without the wheels for now until I pick up some glue to keep them in place. Otherwise, it’s great! Just what we needed.

Perfect for an eat and run family…. Sturdy and if you want to sit solo. I use the time to sit and have coffee on weekends for peace of mind before I start weekend chores.

Furniture arrive on time, assembly instructions were clear and the table fits well in my small place. Only complaint is that it's a small bit lightweight/ wobbly but overall a good for a small studio apartment.

This little cart is fairly sturdy and works for me because I have a tiny kitchen. Several pieces were labeled with the wrong numbers, but easy enough to figure out and put together. (Even for a woman!) The instructions are clear and easily understood. One of the towel holders was split pretty bad but I don't have room for both to be on it, so I didn't use the one that's split.

This was like assembling a puzzle!! Every single piece came separate and unassembled!! And then after spending HALF A DAY assembling it it was small and child like in size!! For the 171 bucks I had to spend for this junk I’m livid it’s so small they could have sent it assembled!!!! One if the wheels broke and the wood cracked in two parts when assembling DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I feel like they owe me half the money back for sending shoddy cheap pieces of wood that I had to figure out how to put together, it’s unstable I’m going to have to reinforce it to be able to use it - just super unhappy and feeling very ripped off to the point I may call the bbb about it - Looks like I ordered it off of Wish except it was a ridiculous amount of money And it’s not like I’m gonna return it now after I spent six hours putting it together - they owe me for labor in my opinion - do not buy this product!!! do not buy this product!!! Instructions could have been clearer. Smaller than I imagined but could've looked at the measurements. Not very sturdy and one of the pieces of wood had a hole in it for the top piece. I wouldn't recommend.

For less than $100 you really can’t go wrong with this. I needed it for a fairly small space in our kitchen for my 11 year old to eat his breakfast and for an additional work space during holiday and large meal prep. Works perfect for all I need it for. The directions were a bit confusing, and the corners of the stools are sharp so you definitely need covers but then you can’t get the stools up under without tucking like we did or removing every time you want to put them away. I am also a bit concerned about how well the stools would hold a full grown person but I guess time will tell. I would enjoy sitting here with a friend or a family member enjoying coffee looking out our window so we will see how they hold up to adults using. All in all super happy with it and I dream of downsizing to a tiny home and no longer up keeping the work and expenses of a massive 3 bedroom home once our two boys venture out on their own and I was thinking this would be perfect for tiny home living!
