The led gas indicator has 5 lights constsntly lit up. adjusting the sensitivity doesnt change the amount of led's lit and it doesnt alarm, what could

It either means you either got a really bad gas leak or that device is faulty...if u smell gas and if this gas pipe is the pipe bringing gas into your home national grid fix for free as their responible for that but work inside home are homeowners responsibility either way they come out within 1-3 hrs worst case scenarios turn off gas till safe........try it outside in fresh air see if lowering sensitity makes it go down or not, 1 warning tho when i blew on mine the lights shot up so maybe not if windy!!!......this item found a gas leak of someone who didnt want to report as wasnt sure...i put sensitiviy to barely 1 bar then all 5 lit at the leak, AND the workers were impressed with it and is now all fixed after a night day inconvenience

This device is not for testing for sewage, but it’s great at finding a leak around your gas meter. You need a clean water test kit for checking for water pollution.

Can this detect isobutane (R600a)?

Butane is listed so assume isobutane would almost certainly be detected too.
