Great light
I ordered a scangrip 3 they sent an upgrade scangrip 4 better lighting

Great little inexpensive color matching/Detailing light
We have a 3M sun gun where I work which is quite a bit brighter than this one however the 3M light is about four times as much money and the battery life is very short so all in all I really like this little light for the money and it holds a charge very well,it also gives out plenty of light To do color matching as far as I’m concerned.

Works as a great tool to standardize color evaluation with customers both with design and in manufacturing settings. Durable, long battery life, and bright enough to highlight effect pigments.

Useful tool
I've painted cars professionally for 23 years. Obviously the actual sun is your best friend. This however is a very close second. I love this light! More than the 3m big version. Durable, light weight, long battery life and bright! It won't magically solve your color matching issues on a tri-coat, but every tool helps!

Well-engineered product
Probably not made in China. It doesn't reveal anything my cheap LED flashlight doesn't, but it does have the added benefit of much wider coverage as well as it being hands free. Buy it if you can afford it. Edit: I actually really like this thing. Again, won't reveal anything an LED flashlight won't, but I really enjoy the various temperature color ranges, as well as the vary wide coverage.

Excellent Refinish Lamp
I am a professional automotive refinished. This is my second scangrip. I still have the first one and I still use it as a backup. These lights are great for checking your coverage in hard to paint areas, as well as in color matching. This product is durable in a commercial environment and I highly recommend it.
