Absorene Dirt Eraser Large Beige 1 3/4"H x 3 3/4"W x 7 1/4"D

I was looking for something to clean soot from my laser engraving projects and this is working great! It cleans painted and unpainted surfaces perfectly and doesn't leave ANY particles or residue, and it doesn't fall apart (like magic erasers) I will have to shave layers off as it becomes dirty, but it does a decent job of holding on to dirt even when it's dirty. This will forever be a tool on my workbench. Really pleased.

Very handy for cleaning any surface you don't want to get wet, or where wetting would just smear, as with smoke soot or candle black. Also effective on oils on non-porous surface, like your phone screen. Will not clean stains which have penetrated the surface, but for superficial dirt and grime, they work well. Durable, long-lasting. Can get ripped up on super rough surfaces, for which you need to use shorter, more daub-like strokes. When they get so full that they are depositing rather than removing dirt, I just trim them with scissors to expose fresh sponge.

It's incredible how these sponges can clean. Just open the pack, and start wiping the area that needs cleaning.

This product works much the same way the Absorene putty works to get rid of dirt and grime while not picking up color during comic book dry cleaning.
