Rimmel 60 Seconds Super-Shine, 8ml, Mermaid Fin

Love this nail varnish, my second bottle. It took ages to find again so very pleased. I find it’s quite wide brush makes application nice and easy, it dries quickly and the lasting power is pretty good too. It needs a couple of coats, usual I know. Sometimes use a silver glittery top coat over it. Funny thing is, when it arrived it looked much pinker in the bottle than my previous one. Same colour name on the bottle though. But once on, it looked just like my old one, a pearly white with a hint of pale blue, a nice summery colour which goes with everything. Also, oddly, my previous bottle dried up really quickly - I was very nearly put off buying it again however just had to because love the colour so much. But so far this one is performing well.

Good product, good value for money, last longer and dry so quickly. Love the ombre colour effect easy to remove.

i liked this colour but did need three coats. Last very well too

The colour of the polish is lovely - provided you paint it over a dark base. If you do, it truly does look like 'mermaid fins' - it gives the nails an appearance of this green-aqua iridescence. I suppose, if you like a very delicate colour to your nails, you might like this alone, but keep in mind that it is extremely sheer on its own. I imagine, this could be the equivalent of 'no make-up' make-up for the nails.My major grievance with this polish, however, is that contrary to what its name suggests, it most definitely does not dry in 60 seconds. In fact, even with a quick-dry top-coat, it takes at the very least an hour for it not to be tacky, and that is both on top of freshly painted nails and on a fully dried base. If you buy and use this, you should keep this in mind and clear a few hours in your schedule.

Beautiful colour, very shiny, easy to apply and quick drying. Good value for money.

Very iridescent ,pink with slightly Aqua bluey green tints...Mermaid is a good name for this colour . Can be used on its own or to add an irridescent sheen to other colours

Nice nail varnish but a little see through. Best put a base coat on and top up with this varnish
