A perfect science fiction novel, with humour.
The Ultimate H2G2, is compilation of "triology of five novels". (The sixth one in the series was written later, by a different author.) These novels are misadventures of two galactic hitch-hikers, one from the vicinity of Betelgeuse, and other one is one of the only two surviving human beings. The novels provide knowledge of space, time, space-time, astrophysics, quantum physics with a flair of British humour, these things can be understood by any person with adequate knowledge of English, and humour of course. The H2G2 series was originally a radio talk show by Douglas Adams himself, which later spanned adaptations in form of stage shows, novels, TV series, computer games, comics, and most recently a hollywood funded movie (starring Zooey Deschannel).

Loved the Book and the Binding
The book title says for itself. There is no doubt about the brilliance of this book but I would like to stress about the book binding. I found this very impressive. The hardcover and all the 5 parts in one book. I love the binding and cover. Absolutely worth it. Better than buying all the 5 books

One of the best book in the Comic Science Fiction Genre-TRULY WORTH THE HYPE
This is my first book in this particular genre. And I must say that it has been indeed a remarkable choice. This book takes you through both, the best and also the worse parts of the writer. Some bits are just outright boring. It also isn't a laugh riot throughout the 800 odd pages but there are a lot of funny bits and many subtle ones too. In it's entirety I believe this book is worth all the hype out there about it. The writer talks about many things which make you ponder about some very basic questions of life. For example- Why are we here ? What is our purpose ? Why haven't we contacted any alien civilisations ?(Yes, I strongly believe that there are many alien worlds out there.) I recommend this book to everyone who just wants a nice funny book to curl up with. And yeah Marvin The Paranoid Android also tells us a thing or two about self-loathing.

Exactly what you want
In a far away galaxy, in a land lost long long ago, one man found a solution to all the problems of the world. This one man then went to a phone booth and made a call to his girl friend to tell her about the solution. After 3 beeps and a message from the phone company that may be he should hold on or may be he should call back, the call connected. Before he could say anything, his girlfriend told him, her parent's are out of town and she is alone at home. And he quickly forgot about the solution. 50 years later, the son of this man, now a handsome young man of 22 decided to write a book. A book about a solution to all the problems of the world. But then he logged online and simply tweeted it, bought an iphone, a recliner and 50 steam games. This is not his story. Infact the book is about nothing at all and yet about everything. Read it. Its got exactly what you're looking for. Keep a towel nearby.

Thoroughly hilarious
Technically not one book but “a trilogy of five”. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and The Restaurant at the End of the Universe are absolutely hilarious. Life, the Universe and Everything, So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish and Mostly Harmless are slightly less so. It’s probably a bad idea to go through all of them in one go because the absurdity gets a little too much to handle. An otherwise brilliant collection. Would recommend.

Good read
Ultimate read. I had never read a sci-fi book that was also this funny. The absurdity of events is what amuses me the most. I haven't finished it yet (ik it's been long) but the three parts I have read are pretty good. Bought this on someone's suggestion and was not disappointed. The book quality was not very good but understandably decent. But I have covered it so it's all good. The binding didn't lose so I'm happy.

It's no less than AWESOMe
It all starts with the planet Earth when a simple, young Arthur Dent meets Ford Prefect in a bar and hitchhikes to a galaxy seconds before the evil Vogons destroy the Earth. Rest all are the adventures of Arthur, Ford, double-headed Zaphod, astronomer Trillian and many other character in love with their planets and universes. The trilogy of five is full of good humor and is written in a style that you won't find anywhere. If there is one fiction series that you want to read, this is it.

Delivery was on time. But I am somewhat torn about the product quality. I love this book to bits and had already read it 3 times before and had the exact same omnibus until I lost it while I was in college. I had the urge to read this masterpiece again and decided to order it online, expecting the same good quality of product as the product I originally had - as the cover, publisher, etc. advertised is exactly the same. I ordered it through uRead-shop and I wouldn't say I was sorely disappointed, but it is undeniably disappointing that the book I have received is of low to mediocre quality. The cover is thin and flimsy, the printing is bad and of poor quality and I'm almost sure it will fade within a matter of months. the pages of the book itself are thinner than single ply toilet paper, with bad print. I feel as if I have been duped with a duplicate product, such as those being hawked by vendors at traffic lights. Overall, I would not recommend 100%... not even 98%, or 85%, 72%, maybe 42%... It is a great read, and I guess that DOES make up for the bad quality if you are as big a fan of Douglas Adams as me... I guess thats life. Loathe it or ignore it. You can’t like it.
