I recently purchased the Unisex Waist Pack Manual Inflatable Life Jacket, and it has quickly become an essential part of my outdoor gear! Whether I’m kayaking, sailing, or just spending time near the water, this life jacket provides both safety and comfort in a sleek, compact design. The manual inflation system is simple to use and provides quick inflation when needed. I feel confident knowing that if I ever need to activate it, I can do so easily with the pull of a cord. This is the second one I've purchased because it's that good! I've been using the Onyx M-16 Manual Inflatable Belt Pack for several months during my paddleboarding and kayaking sessions, and it's been a game-changer. The ultra-low-profile design is incredibly comfortable; I often forget I'm even wearing it. It doesn't restrict movement, which is essential when paddling or casting a fishing line. The manual inflation system provides peace of mind, knowing that it won't inflate unexpectedly. When tested, the 16-gram CO₂ cartridge provided ample buoyancy, and the backup oral inflation tube is a thoughtful addition for extra safety. Repacking and rearming the device is straightforward, especially with the clear instructions provided. Thankfully haven't had to use it yet, but seems like a really quality product. Its so comfortable to the point where I almost forget I'm wearing it. I bought it initially because it seemed like the most streamlined unobtrusive offering. I would recommend this to anyone.

Nice inflatable belt for paddle boarding

Wore snorkeling. Sometimes I get carried away and not realize how far from shore I’ve gone. An excellent and comfortable safety device.

This was purchased to try and find something more comfortable and that I would actually wear. I have several full size over the shoulder PFD‘s. But they are no fun in the Florida sun. This is a very nice around the waste PFD. I have no problem paddling with this and it’s light enough that it never feels like it’s bulky and in the way while I paddle board. I have gotten it wet plenty of times and it is very easy to unfold and re-fold once dry. The directions to re-fold are imprinted right inside of the package. The manual inflation “straw” is a nice feature should the cartridge fail to inflate for some reason.

So far I like this PFD, it’s hot in Texas and I don’t like wearing something that will cook me on the water. This is a nice alternative that gives you an added layer of protection that you’ll actually wear. Granted it’s not a true auto inflation, you have to pull the cord, so if you get knocked out and enter the water, hope someone grabs you or wake up before you drown. Not a knock on it, you assume the personal risk already being on the water and which PFD if any you wear.

I needed a PFD for my kayak but don’t like vests. This belt design is comfortable and Coast Guard approved. The cartridge is accessible as well as the T-cord.
