I just throw them in a sink of hot soapy water and then rinse off. I believe they are dishwasher safe also.

Q: Is the internal ingredient propylene glycol? Or is it what’s used in antifreeze?

The description says non toxic so it would not be propylene glycol (which is used in anti freeze) because it's toxic. I didn't read the packaging before I discarded it last year.

No. It’s more for keeping lunches cold for a day.

Q: Do they “sweat” a lot and get the food wet?

They do sweat a little. My child used them for school. No complaints from him about wet food.
